Review: Recommended - This worked extremely well. I thought it was a bit narrow so check sizes. It does stretch when putting it on though. This allowed my dog to go out with his injured paw, but did a brilliant job at keeping it dry and clean. I cut it to the length I needed, easy to cut but robust enough for walks. The removable straps allow for ideal placement. I found the velcro straps secure.
Review: Not for large breeds - Categorically not fit for purpose. Fit great and was nice and secure but Split on first use within 10 minutes. I assume the same thickness is used for all sizes so might be a viable product for small dogs.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What size for a greyhound or a lurcher?our lurcher has paws like a collie but legs as skinny as a whippet!it needs to stay on!**
A: My dog had it on his foot for 30seconds before he had a hole in it we have boots for him now as he has a nail bed infection much better

**Q: I have a bassett hound x staffy, he has huge paws but short staffy legs, unsure what size to go for, can anyone help please**
A: Hi, If he has large paws and possibly a bandage, then I think you would need a large size but they are very long and you would have to cut it off, or double the top over. I personally ordered 2 sizes and returned the one I didn't want. Just one thing it is a straight sock there is no shape and wouldnt last long outside. I found the Vetguard protective boot a much better option. Hope this helps.

**Q: Will the large size fit an American Bulldog with a bandage in**
A: Probably be too big, they are quite roomy, long and straight no shape!
I ordered 2 sizes and returned 1, but it was'nt a good buy for me.
There is no shape to the sock, so you need to secure with the straps.
Not very durable if you have an active dog, but waterproof.
I found the Vet guard superdry boot to be the best, in medium for my setter who has quite big feet + bandage.
Hope this helps, it's important to have comfort for your dog as well and you get it all with Vet guard.

**Q: Size for a french bulldog?**
A: Hi there,

Thank you for you enquire. The size I am selling it is medium, and the dimensions are. Width 8cm and the Length is 35cm. Unfortunately, I am not sure what size you would need for you French BullDog.

Many thanks
Team, Bostana

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good but the straps need improvement
*by W***S on 27 January 2026*

Perfect protection, although it could be tight around bandages. I wish it had better straps, my dog legs are too thin and the Velcro doesn’t go all the way to properly secure it, and it ends up slipping a lot.
