Steinel, MP75, Red, Multi Purpose Adhesive, 75 Second Set Time

I bought this to add reinforcement to a cam-lock style of assemble-yourself cabinet I was putting together. Basically, I just glued each edge, and tightened the camlocks. You do have about 45 seconds of open time, which is enough to get everything positioned. The surfaces being glued together were MDF and Melamine. This stuff bonds really well to both. I made a mistake, and tried pulling 2 pieces apart after 2 minutes, and no dice. A rubber mallet would not separate the 2. The one thing I have found is that you really need to make sure this stuff is good and hot for it to flow. If you put a new stick in a hot gun, you still need to let it get hot for the recommended 12 minutes, regardless of the green/red indicator light. Other than that, it works perfectly. It's expensive, but worth it if you need a good glue joint on non-porous surfaces.

Have previously used this glue and loved it, but last two tubes I have ordered have been hardened in the tube before use. Heating in hot glue gun did not help at all. Cut one open while hot and glue was hard as a rock. Don't know if possibly was old stock or what.

best adhesive for the money. i am a professional wood shop and use this for everything i can so that I do not have to use nails. * hint * does not work well with finished surfaced, but works great for wood to wood adhesion.

so expensive, and the all plastic gun dispenser is a piece of sh*t, also expensive; but the glue works great and is super fast drying if the gun doesn't break on you in the middle of dispensing

This glue works as advertised, but no matter how closely yu follow the instructions, it seems that the end will clog and it is a pain and a waste of glue to unclog it. Good glue, expensive, not the best way to glue for a much as the whole system costs

This stuff has no equal. I use it on apartment maintenance and have not found anything that works as good as this. It is expensive so don't waste it. If my gun went out today I would buy another one tomorrow. Joe

This product is awesome. But the packager of these 8 out of 30 tubes was incompetent! It's a miracle that even one tube stayed in the box!
