It could have been the way they packaged the product, none the less, there is a huge lump that goes through the middle so it does not lay flat. It's been 3 months now and I'm getting ready to toss it. Both sides of the bed are on a downward slope with the highest point in the middle of the bed. I've tried rotating the mattress pad but then the lump goes under our backs which is even worse. I've tried flipping it over and trying to massage it out but it is in there for good. If you're purchasing the product in store you may not have this issue but I would not recommend ordering it online.

I honestly should have read the reviews before purchasing-- you can bet I won't be making that mistake again. But here's my review as well!I didn't even get to use it. As you can see from the picture, the product clearly advertises that you can "Machine Wash and Dry", so I did just that. I put it through the washer and drier. And by the time it came out of the latter, it had melted and gotten the plasticy residue all over my other clothes as well.

The worst mattress cover I’ve ever used. I took it off the bed and threw it away. It made the biggest mess on my mattress. It pilled up and covered my mattress with debris. It would not stay in place. Stayed bunched up under the area I sleep

We recently purchased this pad along with a new 4 inch foam topper. The mattress pad covers the new topper and mattress very well, seems well made and is comfortable.

I bought this mattress pad cover to protect the expensive memory foam topper my wife and I purchased. This product has very deep pockets, we have a standard king mattress and a 5 inch firm foam topper, and this mattress pad fits over them both.As far as protection, you couldn't ask for more. We currently live in a small space, so it is not uncommon for us to eat dinner while sitting on the edge of the bed. This mattress pad has taken chicken grease, soda, wine, and hot sauce (to name a few, lol), and none of these substances has seeped through to the foam topper.

I've had this pad for a while. As soon as I put it on my bed, I noticed that while the pad was good, the sides that stretch over the mattress was very flimsy. It would tear easily and and it doesn't stay very well ... always needing to adjust it. With that said, I need to purchase a new mattress pad and I will not purchase this nor would I recommend it.

I am simply looking to have this cover as a general buffer between me and my mattress to help keep the mattress stain-free and to avoid sleeping a fitted-sheet-removed from the mattress material. The top fabric is not the softest but definitely softer than your typical mattress material. My principal complaint is that it does not have 18 inch sides as listed in the product description. It barely fits my 14 inch mattress. It will definitely be returned if it starts to slide off after I sleep on it.

Unfortunately I threw away the packaging immediately after opening because the rubbish truck was down the street and headed for my bins. Wish I waited.This pad will be in next week’s rubbish.As is my custom with new bedding, I tossed this into the washing machine with my usual detergent and ran it on the gentle setting, bulky cycle. When I removed it from the machine there were large brownish stains, mostly in the middle and on one side of the pad. It looked as though someone had loosed their bowels and bladder on the pad. Washed it three times. Soaked it over night. Stains faded only a little.No way would I put this on a bed.Threw it in a rubbish bag and ran a cleaning cycle on the washing machine.A waste of time and money.

The sewing was starting to come apart a bit. But overall ok. Fit well. Has good fabric on the sides for easy application. It is quite the deal in comparison to mattress shops wanting $129. for a queen short mattress cover. It will work out fine.

Was a great option for a university single bed. Was tight but we got it on the bed.
