A quality braided cable that’s thinner than I expected. An excellent 48Gbps bandwidth capacity and I’m happy safe in the knowledge that I’m getting the best quality picture from Sony Blu-ray and Sony 4K TV setup. Probably a few years off for me, but good that it’s 8K compatible too.

If you have a 4k TV or monitor then you need to ensure you have a good cable to maintain the quality of what you are watching. This is a well made and durable cable that provides great colours.

I had issues with my Apple TV 4K dropping the HDMI connection with an Amazon Basics HDMI lead. Was just about to buy the 2m 8K version of this cable on Amazon to see if this helped, but then noticed this exact same cable on the Apple site for 30 quid. Got to be the first ever item to actually be cheaper direct from Apple! So I bought it there instead. So far, problem solved, no drop outs. Can't say that I've noticed an improvement in picture clarity as it was pretty good before and remains so.

It gives a clear sharp picture with good colour saturation . The sound reproduction is very good and it is thin and easy to use.

We were already using a good quality cable so I haven’t noticed any real difference when I swapped to this one. The quality is still great. It feels very good quality and looks good (for a cable) too.

Aside from limited length - JUST about long enough for my setup - there is nothing not to like here. Sturdy, well made connectors tough cable and worked perfectly with my HD setup. I have a friend with a 4K rig and who has had problems with noise - have given him this to use and he reports that, so far, no problem - seems to have cured it! Will update if anything changes.

I’m not a tech so my review will be basic. Plugged into laptop and large monitor and it worked. Picture quality good. Looks like the cable has been reinforced near the plugs so they will last longer.

The husband's review ...I’m no cable aficionado, but obviously after using this I realised that in the cable world “you get what you pay for” is an apt adage.My gaming consul set up was using a generic run of the mill HDMI cable. So when I replaced it with this Belkin cable, the difference in sound and image quality was apparent immediately. I’ve been using it for quite a while now and there is no deterioration of performance, which leads me to believe that this cable is likely to last the duration and be a permanent and integral addition to my set up.There really is no alternative if you want to get the best out of your equipment. This cable will provide you with the means to enjoy the full potential of your high spec and expensive audio visual technology.
