Love this cat carrier
I really like these cat carriers. Now I would not use them at an airport as they would open up but for regular cat transportation to the vet or such these work wonderfully. They are really easy to use, clean and they really open up wide. My cats will go in this carrier when they are not happy about the soft baggy ones or the old fashioned rectangular cubes with metal bars. They are not heavy. They are super comfy and nor intimidating for shy cats. They are fairly sturdy once all the latches are in place.

When I was 14, I could of fit inside of it
I am aware I ordered a X-Large carrier; however, I thought there would be some size limit enforced to ensure practicality of carrying said carrier. As much as I want space for my 8.6lb cat, I am scared she would be flying around the carrier as I am walking around with it. I swear it could fit a Bassett hound and maybe even me when I was in 9th grade. I would be worried also about it being secure in a car seat, you most likely need to put this on a flat surface like a trunk which is a no go for my cat when in the car. Like other reviews said, there is no lock mechanism that covers the rod or a retractable bar to hold it sturdy in place, just a simple plastic handle you lift. I am debating on exchanging for the small carrier but that seems to be out of stock at the moment. Pick your poison

The BEST Cat Carrier!
I love this carrier. I have a cat that is terrified of carriers. This one has the door on the side that makes it so easy to put the cat (or small dog) inside the carrier in a less stressful way - vs. shoving them through a small square or rectangular opening. I got my cat used to it by keeping it out in a room with a little bed inside so he wasn't afraid of it. It is sturdy, easy to fold out, and folds flatly so it's easy to store and not take up a lot of space.

Sturdy, Compact, and Easy to Use
I finally decided to get new cat carriers since one is way too small, and the other is too big and held together with zip ties. I also have had a terrible time getting my smaller cat into the small carrier, as unlike her sister, who waltzes in the door willingly, she's a fighter who wont go down without a fight. So after this latest cat wrangling experience, I went looking online and found these carriers. Initially I bought two, one regular and one larger XL size, but I could tell just by looking at the size of the box that the XL was WAY too big for my needs. I ended up returning it and eventually bought a second regular. The regular size is perfect for me, my cats are average sized, with one being a bit heavier than the other, but they both fit comfortably in these carriers. Having a cat bed is also nice, gives a bit of comfort for them while they're in there, better than the towels I used to put in there that slid around and bunched up.When folded, the carrier is far more compact than non-folding ones (naturally). This is great since I feel like in most cases, people only break the carrier out for vet trips or if they're taking a pet on a long trip, so instead of these bulky crates you need to store, you can fold them up and put them in the bottom of a closetThe folding aspect was a strong selling point, however my favorite aspect is the large door. For myself, this makes it far easier to get my escape artist cat into the carrier, as I'm not trying to get her through a little door that she can brace her paws against, and instead I just lower her in and can swing the door up while one hand holds her from jumping out.Overall I'm a huge fan, and honestly I'm a bit disappointed I have to wait until their next vet appointment to really give these a good use. Maybe I'll just put them in and walk around the house for a bit, get them used to the carriers.

I Like It and I Don’t.
I can see why this has such mixed reviews on it. On the one hand, the design is clever, the water proof bed is great, and the thing is completely collapsible. This is immediately a Very intriguing and eye-catching product straight off the bat just bc it’s like nothing else I’ve seen on option out there (as far as I’m aware). On the flip side to all those positives that I like about the carrier tho is basically exactly what everyone else here is already saying: The quality is horrendously flimsy, the “locks” and latches seem unironically laughable when you finally transformer the piece into an actual full sized carrier, and the darn thing just constantly makes me a bit anxious if I’ve even set it up properly. Bc folding the lid holding piece onto the already popped-into-place Lexus symbol looking piece the two don’t always align perfectly or snap into place with the latches easily the first time. This carrier Is clever I’ll give it that, but had i found a slew of other, similarly themed competitors on Amazon with exactly the same design and even slightly better looking pictures that hinted at sturdier quality workmanship- I would have jumped ship sooooo fast. For now, I’ve only used mine once and the pet I used it on was a hardly 2 pound kitten who may or may not be a runt. This was perfect for a first test run together tho and properly did its job and held up great in the car as my kitten protested loudly and with passion as she attempted to bite at her prison . 😂All in all, I’m not going to rave about it- I know better than that, but I’m not totally upset with it either. We’ll see how long this lasts and if the latches break in my hands as I go to set it up for a second time later down the line. 😌EDIT (01/23/2025): it’s actually holding up really well and my vet loves it. It gives her such immediate and easy access to my little one when we go in. Meanwhile, my kitten is obsessed with the little fluffy bed that comes with and now I keep the carrier popped open and ready for her permanently- she makes biscuits and suckles on the bed she loves the thing so much. Even when I think I’ve finally traumatized her with a vet visit or a long car ride, she’s always right back in her carrier, right on top of the little bed, and having a blast by herself purring away. AND it’s held up really well DESPITE my skepticisms and doubts. Note, I did stop folding it down after like, my second use when I figured out my girl liked it most when it was open and up so the locking feature on the carrier hasn’t really gone through any tried and true wear and tear from me. Overall, I actually DO really like this, and if mine ever breaks or if she ever outgrows her current one as she slowly transitions to adulthood, I’d probably get another one of these without question (unless something better and similar comes up of course lol). Really, really nice product overall. Not bad. Not bad at all.
