This bad is awesome and has amazing utility.The top grey part is a heavy duty water proof material. The main compartment of this bag DOES NOT ZIPPER. I was skeptical of this before purchasing but after using it I am in love with this feature. Zippers break and they leak. This bag avoids that problem altogether by using a role-to-close method instead. The main compartment opens up like a tote bag. This makes taking things in and out of the bag extremely easy since the opening is much wider than traditional bags with zippers. Once I'm ready to close the bag I roll up the grey part and a pair of buckles secures it closed.The bag only has one other pocket other than the two bottle holders on the side. This second pocket is zippered, but get this... Access to this pocket is from the side, not the front. The zipper is vertical and covered by a flap to prevent rain from leaking in. And finally...the pocket is accessible from either side! Two separate zippers accessing the same pocket! Sounds superfluous on paper but in practice it's amazing helpful.I use this bag for all day long concerts, festivals, events, etc. Enjoying these events past your 20s requires bringing essential items to help you get through the day. Extra clothes, sunscreen, medicine, snacks, whatever. This bag makes storing and, IMPORTANTLY, accessing those items a breeze. The bag being clear helps with this. It is a bit cumbersome when I have to open the main compartment. However, this could be because I am not yet used to the pack. Overall, it fits more like a school backpack than one of those backpack purses. The comfort of the straps is also a great feature. I give it a 4 star mainly because I have to get myself used to its bigger size.
