Great Product! Works awesome with LED dimmable bulbs
I have tried a few different dimmers with a few different LED bulb types and manufacturers and this one works the best by far. Being able to adjust the range of dimming really allows you to get the most out of your bulbs. The limitations of dimming with this dimmer is dictated strictly by the bulb you get and nothing else. Most LED bulbs can only get down to 20%, but that will change as the bulb technology gets better. I do have one set of bulbs that I feel like i am getting down to 5-10% and a totally stable (no flickering or random turn offs due to low voltage).I can't comment on commercial products, but for residential dimmers I think these are probably the best bang for your buck even if they are kind of expensive compared to other dimmer you can buy. Why do you ask?Pro's-Very adjustable-Look amazing, expensive, and high tech especially in the dark with the green LEDs. Makes it nice for finding the switch in the dark-In a 3-way location you can dim from both switches (this is not possible with normal 3 way dimmers)-Other cool feature such as a delayed turn off. (If you hold the switch down for a few seconds it will delay turning off the light for like 45 seconds, long enough for you to get out of the room and then turns off automatically. I'm surprised, but I use this feature all the time when I'm going to bed or leaving the house)-Easy to install, and built well just like most Lutron product.Con's- A little more expensive than alternatives, but with the added features, and functionality it's totally worth it in my opinion. If you are the type of person that is borderline OCD about doing things right, just buy these. You won't find anything better as of when I wrote this review.

Lutron, always reliable
The Maestro dimmer system is great for lighting. The dual pack includes the main control (with lights) and a companion dimmer (no lights). for a 3-way installation. Easy to wire with back push in ports. Side screw terminals are also available. If replacing plain on/off 3 way switches be sure to note the wiring and traveler wires. These are great in many different rooms of your home. Dimming saves energy and also adds more interest to a room. it is an easy DIY project. For intermittent use in a home. I have had these for several years without any problems. Works well with LED lights and older incandescent bulbs. Not meant for tubular fluorescent bulbs. I have never had any issue with the Meastro switches, installing or function. You have to properly identify the traveler wire to get it to work properly, if you don't you will have issues. Also use the breakaway metal tabs if using the dimmer in a box with other switches so it does not touch the other ones.

This is a time tested review 4 years in the making for Lutron MACL-153M
In August of 2015, I changed nearly every incandescent and flourescent light bulb in my house to FEIT LED's which I purchased from Costco. Most of the LED's are 9.5 watt (60 watt incandescent equivalent) of either the 'A' type or 'par 30' type, although there are others. At about the same time, I also purchased the Lutron MACL-153M dimmers (in multiple purchases all from Amazon). I currently have 12 of these dimmers and 3 companions for 3-way switching locations. I am dimming anywhere from one LED up to five depending on the light fixture(s) being controlled by the dimmers. After more than 4 years, I have only great things to say regarding both the dimmers and LED's. First of all, every dimmer is consistent. It doesn't matter how many lights within my range that I'm dimming. There is absolutely no buzzing or flickering anywhere nor are there any lights that won't go all the way off. I've gone through and programmed each of them so that one tap turns them on to approximately the 3rd or 4th (middle) indicating light depending on the room without delay. Two taps is full brightness. I programmed a 5 second delay to off. Even as the LED's are dimming to off, there is no flickering. I've even lowered the low trim from where it is factory set, so that they go almost all the way down with no issues - not quite as low as the old incandescents, but close. I also have them installed in my bathrooms. I know that may sound wierd, but just the thought of waking up in the middle of the night and turning the lights on to full brightness hurts my eyes! I only mention this because of the steam & moisture generated by showers. That was a concern of mine. Still, even these Lutrons are working like champs. We have been through multiple power outages and lightning storms over the course of 4 years and they're all still working great. In closing, besides saving money on energy, the best thing is that I have not had to replace a single light bulb or dimmer in 4 years. I love the features and that they are programmable. All 15 are working the same as when I first installed them. I am totally satisfied with my purchases and would definitely recommend.
