Awesome
If it's $60 a pound it's never a good value, although it's that much if you purchase it in Jamaica. Blue Mountain is the best damn coffee I've ever had and this tasted true to form. I've seen some crap reviews but I've drank the coffee in Jamaica. Nothing tastes as good at home as it does in Jamaica but this is bomb!

Taste Great!
Good bold taste without any bitterness or 'bite'. This coffee is smooth tasting and tastes as fresh as the Jamaican Blue Mountain on the island. I was a bit skeptical when I ordered, thinking it may be older coffee, but I was pleasantly surprised with how fresh the coffee tasted. Matter of fact I had just received some JBM direct from Jamaica and Jablum tasted better than the brand I had received! I think I have found a new 'Favorite JBM brand!

Not good
Package seemed like the real thing and expiration date good, but flavor way off. Tasted stale. Tossed out. Next time I buy this is in Jamaica, not amazon.

100% Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee is, in my opinion, the best, and this is excellent quality.
100% Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee is, in my opinion, the best, and this is excellent quality. Yes, 100% Kona is good, as are some other high end varieties, but JMB is the gold standard. Try it and you will understand why I pay $40 a pound for coffee beans. Grind the beans just before brewing. My coffeemaker does that automatically and then brews. Ummm Good.

Real, but inferior quality Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee:-(
Good JBM is one of very few coffees I'm still willing to spend the time and effort to grind by hand and carefully brew in a French press, because I really enjoy the taste. I had the opportunity to buy JBM coffee in Jamaica on several occasions previously, and consider Jablum one of the better brands, with larger and consistently even-sized beans - and I distinctly remember the roast to be on the lighter side of medium.I was happy to find Jablum JBM available on Amazon and bought some right away... To my dismay, although the label says the same thing, the beans are of a a very different quality. The first thing I noticed was that it's very dark and oily with a prevalent burnt smell - not exactly unpleasant, but unexpectedly dark roast for a JBM. On closer inspection, there are also a high ratio of misshapen/broken beans. I've made several cups now and can definitively say that in my opinion, this does have the distinctive taste of real JBM - but is very unfortunately of a lower quality to begin with then roasted too dark. The bitter/burnt taste of the roast overpowers the signature smooth/subtle qualities of JBM, making it not very enjoyable at all (especially not at this price).Maybe Jablum's quality has gone down overall since when I last bought theirs in Jamaica a couple of years ago, or maybe they just pick the lower quality stuff to sell to the States (and also roast it to oblivion, because "Americans like Starbucks"??) Whatever the case, I'm not buying this one again on Amazon...What a disappointment.

Not worth the price ...
For the price you pay for this coffee ($90/lb) you expect excellent quality, and it simply wasn't there. Flavor is average at best, and beans appear very old even though expiry date indicated this was not the case.
