DHP Milton Twin Loft Bed, White, Traditional Small Space Junior Size, Horizontal Paneling, Sturdy Wood Construction

I bought this for my 6 year old grandson. He absolutely loves it. It seems to be good and sturdy. The color is just a shown. I like that it is space saving and that you still that floor space underneath to play.

This loft bed is sturdy, stylish, and gave us so much extra room underneath. My kid loves it and sleeps great. Assembly was simple—definitely recommend!

We’ve used this for 1.5yr so far for my 5/6yr old. The stairs are completely vertical which is fine for floor space, but makes it a bit difficult to climb in/out of for someone not so coordinated. It is not lofted as high as our other bed, so it kinda defeats the purpose of using space under it much, but it’s fine for small kids to play or sleep under. I bonk my head often when climbing under it lol. It’s held up nicely. We did a thin foam mattress and added plywood-like sheets under it to support it better than just the slats. Taking a star off for the visible screws/bolts that are not flush with the wood, the ladder, and the loft height. Otherwise it’s fine!

Pros: We bought this bed for a 4 year old one year ago and it has held up very well. It is perfectly sturdy for her and I assume will be for many years to come. It is the perfect height for her to get in and out of herself and has just enough room underneath for toy storage and to sit under. It took a few hours for us to assemble but there weren’t any issues with it.Cons: The few issues I have with the bed would not deter me from buying it again, but are just things to be aware of. The biggest thing is that the edges are all very blunt so we have put padding along a lot of it near her pillow, as well as underneath the bed for when she sits under it. She did scrape her head on one portion that I hadn’t covered so we have added more. As some other reviews stated the slats that the mattress sit on are far apart. We bought a mattress board and that works really well to keep the mattress from sinking between the slats.Overall it is a great bed for a child and especially if you want extra floor space. With a few modifications it has worked really well for us.

Assembly. It was pretty easy and is sturdy. The only thing I would keep in mind is that you have to have some sort of platform otherwise it will hold the mattress incorrectly.

The media could not be loaded. This bed is AWESOME!! its so Awesome that my 3 year old Autistic son began to count he was so happy! He had never done that before, or again since lol! but he counted to 7 very clearly and from the video and pics you can see how happy he is!! It also took him some used to getting up and down but once he got the hang of it he was King of the Mountain!It took me and my 18y/o son about 2 hours to put completely together with a drill. If you use a drill just make sure not to go to tight as you can crack the wood. Other than that everything came packaged and labeled neatly and I am happy with my purchase!I have to admit i thought he would play under the bed more but he doesn't go under there at all even tho i put lights up a bean bag chair and his fav rug!

My son absolutely loves this bed, but it did come with two cracked boards that we had to fix. We would have returned and had a new one sent out but we didnt notice until the bed was almost built and it would have been horrible to have to take it all down and somehow pack it back up. We put some wood glue in the cracks and the bed has held up nice.

Looks good and not to hard to put together. Didn’t want it to be very tall. Works great for my six year old and he loves these space underneath.
