A Classic worth buying
We all know the smaller packages with 6 - 8 -12 -24 cubes. Easy to dissolve in boiling water and a reliable product with the same taste/quality each time.This is No different - except it comes in a larger portion, which makes it far cheaper, and since I often use stock cubes to enhance flavour I have turned to buy these larger portions, because it makes storage easier.A really good value for money

Very tasty as an additive or as a clear soup
We lived in Germany for many years and they had a clear soup which I couldn’t source in the Uk, well not at a decent price. These cubes are the closest match. We use them in gravy, in noodles, in anything really.

Prof. Range Tastes Different
A quick heads up for shoppers: Just like Knorr reformulates their products to different countries' tastes they also reformulate their professional range. This stock cube will not taste exactly like the veg cubes you buy in the shops, at least not at time of writing, so be aware if this is important to you. They are of the expected Knorr quality, so no worries there (though it wouldn't kill them to find a PALM OIL replacement). However the flavour is more oniony and the hint of garlic is strong enough to be picked out. Whether this is better or worse is a mere matter of taste, but sometimes it does matter so this review is to highlight the fact for the fussy super tasters out there (you don't need to be that "super" just fussy).If you've bought these big tubs in the past but not for a few years I'm pleased to report that the tub itself is of better quality being less brittle. It's a clear version of the tubs used for Knorr powders with all the same food safe/ freezer safe markings and will give years of service when emptied and reused.

Practical and useful. Will buy again.
We use a lot of stock cubes and need to buy in bulk. This is great for those who make soups and stews regularly.The container is very useful when empty and is dishwasher safe.
