Suck UKCork Globe World Map with Push Pins - Complete Map of the World Globe in beautiful Cork Mini 6 Inch

Excellent product. Despite purchasing the larger sized globe, I still switched to smaller bead-headed map pins to save space in areas we traveled extensively. Colors look terribly dark in the box but are very nice when seen in actual light. Pins take a bit of patience to insert through the cardboard which backs up the cork exterior, but slow, steady pressure does the trick. Yes, there seems to be a plastic ring inside the equator which poses a problem sticking a pin in places like Singapore (as another rater mentioned) but i managed. Nice size, nice quality, and a great idea for those who cherish their travels.

I actually ordered this for my son-in-law to give my daughter for Christmas. She is a nurse who works for a travel clinic and is inspired to travel all over the world. This globe will track her adventures! LOVE it!

This is a cute little globe. It's small, but still decently sized. Do yourself a favor and buy pins with the smallest heads you can find- the giant tacks provided are much too big for this little globe. (I purchased the Yongshida 0.16" Diameter Small Head Map Tacks Mixed Color Pack of 300 available on Amazon, they are perfect.)My complaints: (1) You have to push REALLY, REALLY HARD to get the tacks to go in; (2) as others have mentioned, the plastic strip around the equator is cheap looking; (3) should be priced about $20 lower. Still, I like it and I'm happy with the purchase.I've included a picture with a few tacks and a delicious beverage for scale.

We used this for my mom's birthday party. We marked out all the places she'd been. So many people commented on how cool it was. I'd recommend it. You definitely need more pins than what it comes with.

Poor quality

First, I loved the idea of this small globe that can be easily displayed. However, there are many issues. First, I noticed when taking it from the box, that the two hemispheres did not line up. There was a slight gap between the longitude lines at the center. Next, when I tried to push in the pin, it was extremely difficult. I was using smaller pins so I could mark more areas, but had to use the large push pin to make a hole. Lastly, when pushing a hole near a seam, the cork pushed in and the seam opened. I was able to pull it back into shape, but not able to make any more holes on that seam. It would have been better to mark with a Sharpie. So, overall, great idea, but poor quality.

It's a perfect accessory for my office! Plus it makes for a great conversation piece of all the places I've been!
