Acer KG241Pbmidpx 23.8 inch FHD Gaming Monitor, (TN Panel, FreeSync, 144Hz, 1ms, DP, HDMI, DVI, Speakers) Black

It took me a while to review this monitor because I wanted to use it for some time before I do that.This is one of the best monitors for the price. I got it on sale at approximately 220 euros on June 2019, so that was a real bargain at the time.Lightning fast panel, good quality for the price except the settings buttons which are plastic but work very well, 2 HDMI and 1 DP port and it is a very good looking. The stand is a nice three legged one that holds the monitor steady even if you move the desk but there is no usb hub.Now lets go to the color reproduction. Out of the box the monitor is extremely bright, like most TN 240 hz panels and the colors are not good, they seem too washed out. You will need to play with the settings and lower the brightness a lot.to get it to the right level according to what is suitable for you.Once you do this, the colors will be really good for a TN panel, surprisingly good I would say. In my opinion I can barely notice the difference from my IPS LG 29UM58 second monitor. From what I have seen in reviews they are almost identical to the Alienware AW2518H or HF but I think the quality of the Alienware is a bit better. Viewing angles are perfect, I have no issue watching my son playing sitting next to him or a bit further away on my PC.The speakers are an addition I would never use, the sound is too low no matter how high you set the volume at.Acer needs to work on their menus though and especially on their navigation system. The 5 button implementation does not work help a lot and it makes it hard to navigate through the options. They should just use a small joystick like LG does.Overall, a great option for 240hz gaming, very fast TN panel, no ghosting and a ideal for competitive gaming (Fortnite, Overwatch, CS:GO). Just make sure your PC is good enough to hit as many FPS as possible.If you are mostly playing single player games, this one is not the best option as you will not be utilizing it to the maximum, better settle for a 144hz one (IPS, VA or TN), maybe for a larger screen or a higher resolution. There are many options out there.

The monitor is great.As a 3D artist it means I can see everything clearly.For gaming it's great also.The only problem with it is it can be a tiny bit too contrasty.But, that's not a massively big deal which is why I docked it one star.(If I had the ability to do so, I'd only dock it half a star)But, well worth the price.EDITI've been using this monitor for a while now, and I have to say I still love it.I bought a second monitor since I liked it so much.And further to my previous writing, it doesn't feel contrasty anymore.A bit more playing with the settings and it now looks great.I use it on 2560 x 1440 for both monitors, which allows me to do all mymodelling, texturing and such in great detail.Would like to get a third, but, my desk doesn't have enough room to do so currently.

Without going into too much detail above and beyond what others have commented. The monitor is very good for the price and 1440p hits the sweet spot for 27" monitors, AMD freesync is nice and for me 75" Hz is sufficient on the Acer KG271Ubmiippx as I primarily bought this for gaming on 3 monitors where I rarely will exceed 75FPS.The 1 issue. 3 monitors with any kind of angle of the outer monitors and the bezels are not flush. This is because what it doesn't say is that the bottom bezel sticks out about 1cm (not sure why as it doesn't seem to serve any purpose). When you then try and rotate the outer monitors inwards to create the wrap around effect you end up with a space between the centre monitor and the outer two monitors, there is no easy fix for this.This isn't a fault of the monitor, more how I intend to use 3 of them . Hope this is useful for anybody thinking of creating a cheap 3 monitor setup, it may be best looking elsewhere...

Absolutely Love it colors are great and works Terrific with my Xbox one s at 1440p setting. Input lag is no more with this as it will rapidly detect motion and quickly refreshes the on screen action with the 1ms fast response time. My last post i stated that the Xbox one s wouldn't recognise this was 1440p capable and hence why i was so mad, But having a ponder around the web for no answers i tried to see where i was going wrong with the settings myself but to no avail. So quickly jumping to conclusions to the type of HDMI i was using and BINGO i found out it wasn't capable of supporting anything over 1080p which proved to be the fact after using a HDMI i received with the sky q kit it works a charm and Gives out the 1440p resolution on Xbox one s....So if you are wondering if it is true this monitor is WQHD 1440p Take it from a guy who was skeptical up to now and Buy, You cannot go wrong best decision I've made in a long time! Also state that yes it is coming to Xbox one s and Xbox one x 1440p support and free-sync reason i jumped to upgrade ;)

I did an incredible amount of research into monitors prior to this purchase. I read every single horror story and opinion available on the Internet and was well prepared for the worst possible outcome.However, this monitor has been amazing since arrival! I've had it for about 4 months and I have had no issues whatsoever. The picture is fantastic and after upgrading from a 24" Tesco TV which was only HD Ready (not full HD) to a 1440p 27" Monitor, I was blown away.I can't see the point in having a 144hz+ refresh monitor as at 1440p nothing really runs that fast (at my budget anyway!). 75hz is more than I'll ever need for games like Assassins Creed or other open-world games. Although, saying this, it absolutely smashes titles like Rainbow Six Siege and other first-person shooters (coming from a big R6s fan!).Either way, this monitor looks great, has great performance and seems to be very reliable/robust! Not to mention good warrenty, etc.

Ho acquistato il monitor ad un prezzo irrisorio grazie a Amazon warehouse. Purtroppo la mia esperienza, seppur buona, è incrinata dal dubbio su quale versione del prodotto è entrata in mio possesso. Sì, perché il monitor in questione ”Acer KG1 KG271UA” ha più versioni 144hz e 75hz... finora non sono mai riuscito a "spingerlo" oltre i 70hz tramite HDMI. Non ho capito se solo tramite displayPort sia possibile arrivare a 144hz (non ho avuto modo di provare)...dunque state attenti!

Im Bereich Preis/Leistung ist er eine absolute Empfehlung. Ich habe den "Acer KG251QD" bei Amazon Warehouse für 231 Euro gekauft und hab ihn wie neu vorgefunden.+240 Hz+G-SYNC Kompatibilität vorhanden+Trotz TN-Panel sehr schöne Farben und Kontraste+sehr schnelle Reaktionszeit+schöne Optik+Displayport-Kabel vorhandenNach einer gewissen Zeit, werde ich die Rezension bezüglich des Langzeittestes ergänzen.

Il monitor è un'ottima scelta ,l'ho preso usato a 99 euro e non ha alcun difetto,come nuovo,il design non è dei migliori ma il piedistallo è davvero carino da vedere.Lo uso principalmente per il gaming ,il campo in cui eccelle grazie al fatto che è un monitor a 144 hz. Vedendo alcuni commenti ho notato che alcune persone dicevano che non è 144zh ma 120,ciò succede perchè si usa il cavo HDMI,usando il cavo display port invece il problema scompare.La resa cromatica è superiore ai classici pannelli tn.Davvero un buon prodotto,consigliato!

Cette écran acer est juste génial, le 4k ça change vraiment la vie surtout sur cette taille là, le pixel deviennent invisibles /o/ Par contre j'ai eu quelques difficultés avec le display port, "aucun signal" alors qu'il est bien branché et l'ordi allumé... A voir si ce n'est pas ma carte graphique, en attendant je suis passé sur l'hdmiAh et si vous utilisez du dual screen je vous conseil fortement d'utiliser du 4K avec le 2eme ecran car le passage d'une fenêtre à l'écran 4k vers 1080p provoque des glitch jusqu'à que la fenêtre soit bien recadrée...L'allumage de l'écran est plutôt longSinon je suis pas du tout dessus de cette achat et je vous le conseil ;)

Scrivo una recensione riguardo la versione QHD ovvero 2k 75hz Freesync da 27'' che a mio parere rispecchia il vero entry level del QHD, visto il compromesso dei 75hz che in QHD difficilmente risultano stretti.Una pecca sono le casse che non sono realmente utilizzabili vista la scarsa la debolezza del suono, in oltre non è possibile regolarlo in altezza.
