I pressed the 2 buttons, one on the transmitter and one on the receiver and plugged each into their respective locations. This unit works great in all but 1, a 2005 Ovation acoustic electric. Not sure why. Have to give Ovation a shout. At any rate, this is my first dip into the wireless amplification pool. I can't comment on battery life yet as I just got it, but so far, I walked all over the house with no interference. No latency or volume drop issues yet. I saw some reviews that had signal drop issues if the transmitter gets out of the line of site of the receiver, but I had no issue with that. To be honest, I don't plan on having my amp in another room when I'm playing, so as long as I have good connection within around 15-20 ft or so, I'm good. Pretty simple to use, just turn it on and plug and play. The thing came around 3/4 charged and paired right out of the box, so that's a bonus. There's icons on both the receiver (amp) and transmitter (guitar) to make sure you get them plugged in correctly or it won't work. Folds up nicely out of the way against the side of the guitar so you're not bumping it or catching it on anything.
