I needed this for my car - sometime I have to drive on the air-side of my local airport to tow airplanes with my car (small floatplanes stored on trailer that get moved to/from the water). To operate on that side of the fence, the airport rules / ground controller requires you have a rotating beacon that can be seen, and that it operates while you're driving.This fit the bill - it's cheap, the suction cup is super effective (too good, frankly!) and the magnet back up keeps everything in place. When I connect the trailer, I plug this into the cigarette lighter jack in the tailgate of my car, pop it on the roof and switch it on.I don't need all the funky flashing modes this thing has... but what I do really like is once you pick the mode, it remembers which one you were in, and each time you turn it off and on again, it stays there. So once I scrolled through the unnecessary choices, found an appropriate flash pattern, and set it, it just works.When I'm done, it's ten seconds to pop it off the roof, throw it into the spare tire well, and await the next time I need it.

Worked well as a companion to my Mighty Mule gate opener. I needed to see if the gate was open or closed from the bottom of our 300 ft. driveway. I mounted this on the end of the gate, wired it into the control box (you'll need a female lighter socket) wiring Instructions are in the back of the opener manual. Whenever the gate is in motion, opening or closing, the strobe flashes brightly making it easy to see its position from our living room.

I was doing Rural Mail for USPS and a lot of times it would be dark. I have magnetic signs but people can't see those in the dark. This flashing yellow light attracts attention, easy to see, and it made me feel more secure on the road, and especially pulling up to people's houses in the dark. People see the flashing light and they are less inclined to take you as a threat. The magnet sticks very well. It plugs into the cigarette lighter socket and has an On/Off switch on the plug. The cord is plenty long. It also has several different flashing modes - I just used the standard quick flash. Definitely worth buying for me.

This light was amazing. Had it on the roof with wires run though window seal into dash 12V. It lasted for a year on the car and was very bright and always worked amazing. Very easy to use and switch flash patterns. A little small but looked good on a full size SUV.The bad, was driving to work during a tornado and the amber cover was blown from the light and destroyed on the highway. Without the cover, it still works, but is practically useless. I would definitely recommend this for the price and ease of use, but maybe don’t use in extreme weather.

I bought this light for daily use, I didn’t want to spend a ton on any name brand lights. This thing was probably the best light I bought yet. I use it every day and it hasn’t quit yet. It’s been on through heavy rain and snow. Been down to almost 10F and still works like new. The magnet mount is easy to use and holds it on better than advertised. They said it was rated to 55 mph. I have had it up to 85 mph and it didn’t let loose at all. The wire was nice being so long. I had a hard time finding a light with this long of a wire.I would recommend this light, it’s nice and cheap to replace if it gets smashed.

This strobe light gave me several different flashes & made me more comfortable knowing I could more easily be seen.
