Excellent Value
The book was exactly as advertised, but the scuffs were not on the book, the book is as new and excellent. The marks were on the dust cover with a hard to remove label, A little nail polish remover later and the dust cover is now AS NEW to, and an excellent addition to my collection, and the money I saved on buying new, I was able to donate to Alzheimer's Research UK, a charity Terry Pratchett donated to also. Many Thanks.

Absolutely wonderful
I love this book. My Mum wants it too so I'll have to buy another.I laughed right from the start, and as a cat owner I can relate to it all so far.The fact that it's a Terry Pratchett book only adds to it's charm.A great gift for those who love cats (and who doesn't!)

Schrodingers cat had no doubts.....
The mews was with Sir Terry when he wrote this one. Anyone who is owned by or interacts with cats in the course of traversing this vale of tears will recognise the character types. As a believer in Real Cats ... and ONLY ONE INDIVIDUAL is realer than cats - which he is somewhat fond of - I loved this book. Unless you are a dog person you'll love it and if you are a dog person - "don't know yer"

If you love Terry Pratchett and cats this book is essential
If you love Terry Pratchett and cats this book is essential.Only a short book, but well worth a look. Not sure I would have full price for a new version as it is so thin, but second hand price was a bargain.

Recommended for either Discworld, Pratchett or cat fans.
Until this I wasn't sure whether Terry Pratchett liked cats or not - after all Greebo does not cast felines in a "good" light. After reading this, I know that he is a fan but he understands them as well. Written in typical Pratchett style and with asides that will be familiar to all Pratchett fans. This is a serious work, not really a comical book, although it does have humorous passages.

Whats not to like?
Its Terry Pratchett folks - why do I need to say anymore? This book was bought for a cat loving friend for the forthcoming spendfest; my own copy is well marked (and tellingly, NOT LOANED OUT TO FRIENDS!!!)- so it seemed a nice easygoing prezzie for some catnut mates. All the usual comments about quick and courteous delivery apply, but ultimately, its Sir Terence (the other one).Read.If you havent, you should, and if you have you know why I did.Does that make sense?

Exellent book and worth the risk of getting a used copy
Excellent book with a lot to offer cat lovers and haters alike - I'm sure both will recognise the cats they know in this succinct and highly amusing semi-fictional potted history and life and times of cats (and occasionally their owners!)I got my copy used (massivebooks) and it was well worth the risk as it turned out to be in good condition, which was a bonus! :)
