WOW! I LOVE THIS, and LizaBella is digging it too!
So I was so worried about buying this one. But after testing it out on the counter top for a night amd a day to be sure it won't flood my beardie's enclosure, and it has been a wonderful addition. Unlike another Zilla fountain I bought, this one works like a charm. Assembly is very easy. I didnt take anything off for it but I had to widen the hole for the hose to fit, because they did not trim the flash. After I did that everything else fell right into place. I am trying to train her that she can get her water from there too, in addition to mama misting her several times a day, which she loves, so I was hoping to get her to be able to reach her how to stick her head under the rain forest for water. She is catching on already. The other thing I love is that small crickets can't jump in it. It has not flooded or even dampened her substrate. It also seems to help keep her humidity right around 40%. I thought the light would be too bright when her lights went out, but it offers just the smallest blue hue that accents the terrarium beautifully! I hope it keeps up like this. So far, I am very pleased with this purchase, and it came the next day! It it made VERY well, and it is a nice size. Bella is about 7 months old. And she fills the fountain up with her little fat self, but as long as she can fit her head under the water, that is all she needs, lol. I hope we can keep this one, but so far it is working just as described. LizaBella says Thank you!

Just as described!
I wanted something to make my leopard geckos cage look more unique and stimulating for him. I know it is not recommended for this type of reptile since they can drown but I have a Petco gecko so he’s basically indestructible. I used a deeper dish of water prior to getting this so I think this is honestly safer. The water remains shallow as it constantly drains with the holes so I do not think this will be a hazard to most pets (unless they have no instincts at all). He actively drinks from it but does prefer to crawl up the side of it rather than using the branch. I fill the water chamber about once or twice a week and I have not seen any leaks, heard any loud noises, or experienced any other causes of concern. It works just as described. People in the reviews say it came smelling like chemicals but no matter what you should always wash your pets hides and water dishes before putting them in the cage with them. A deep wash with some dawn soap and it will be less smelly and a whole lot safer than putting it into the cage straight from the package. My tank is not big enough for my pet to use the dish but he also only eats worms if they are twirling around on tongs so I don’t think he minds. Solid product and a great investment for a solo gecko’s mental stimulation. It also looks super cool in the cage and has a soothing waterfall sound effect which is pretty calming tbh. Only note is that the suction piece did not reach to the bottom of the chamber so it’s kinda free hanging but it still operates perfectly normal!

superior product to others designed for same purpose
I will admit that the overall design of this fountain reptile watering system is far superior to others of it's type the fact the water drips down realistic plants, the light to attract the reptile to it is the first I have seen incorporating this feature for animals that will not drink from a "bowl" of water. The cavelike design with the log to climb into the "cave" and drink droplets from the plants is also vastly superior to the animal having to negotiate water running (not dripping" down a "rock" feature which is the type most available in the fountains for this purpose. Not to mention the completely contained "reservoir" that holds the water source in the bottom (most fountains have an open reservoir that allows live food to crawl into, drown, die and build up bacteria in the system or an open back that they can crawl into or worse yet your reptile crawl into and not be able to escape from and drowning) of the fountain is a great design feature The only problem with this product is the shoddy material it seems to be made from. I was expecting a more "sturdy" material like ceramic instead of ok I'll just say it CHEAP plastic resin. To make matters worse (more on this is a minute) the "basin" that contains the water source is the worst part. I mean the part that you would expect to be made of the sturdiest material (the bottom of the reservoir) is the CHEAPEST being less than 1/8th an inch thick cheap plastic resin that even seems to be glued onto the rest of the reservoir instead of it being A SOLID PIECE. I guess it is this shoddy material that resulted in my 50 DOLLAR PRODUCT arriving with a cracked reservoir bottom and a 2 inch HOLE already in it RENDERING THE WHOLE PRODUCT WORTHLESS AND UNUSABLE. Therefore I will end by saying the design is perfect a long time coming in the reptile hobby. However the cheap*ss material leaves something to be desired overall and is a poor testament to Zilla's commitment to outstanding products for reptiles and amphibians.....

Great option for small snakes
Have had this for 4 months now. Not intended for snakes but we got it for our 2 year old corn. He absolutely loves it and soaks in it regularly. Some days he is in and out of it 3-4 times. This is his water source in the terrarium. We were having an issue with the water bowl attracting knats but this keeps the water moving and does much better. Also serves as enrichment and is much more interesting to look at. He will outgrow it as a place to soak eventually but will still work as a water source. Would like to see one made in a larger size but planning to order more for our other snakes. Worth the money.

This product is poorly made.
After purchasing this item for my chameleon to have a fancy water fountain, I quickly learned that the water wouldn’t come out. Eventually the water decided to come out so I didn’t think much of it. Now that’s it been closer to a month of owning the product, water won’t come out at all! (This is with the item being properly cleaned!) I waited, nothing. I took the top of and the leaves to see what’s going on and the water don’t have enough force to reach the top of the tube so water will not come out. Another issue is, enclosures typically have a square structure so assuming that this product is meant to be a corner structure it’d fit neatly into any corner of the enclosure. This was not the case. I tried using the food dish on top of the fountain and my chameleon ended up taking the entire bowel with him? I’m pretty sure he doesn’t want his face smacked with a bowel every time he eats. Another thing is, like insects or other food sources tend to go back into the corner behind the fountain where the chameleon can’t get them. Due to the rather large gap in between the enclosure and the fountain, almost all insects hide out behind there till they die and my chameleon gets nothing. In other words this is not a great item to use if you want to feed something live insects/bugs/etc or if you want to use this as a water source. Now, if you want this product to sit there and be all pretty!!!! By all means, USE THIS PRODUCT! The light inside and the decorative designs are so cute, although the purpose doesn’t work.

An every reptile must have.
I love love love this!!! I bought 2 actually. My leopard geckos love to climb this and it's their favorite eating spot. I rarely see them go in but im not up at night to watch them. My breaded dragon on the other hand loves everything about this! She lays in the cave under the water drips when she is shedding as seen in the picture. It's her favorite basking and eating spot as well. When full the cave is quite and gives the tank a magical glow at night. I love it. Its easy to put together and looks great.

Great Idea, Mediocre Execution
This cave provides a great canvas to do something beautiful in your terrarium, but be prepared to do some leg-work to actually make it appropriate for your critter. My girlfriend and I are first-time crested gecko owners, and are still learning the ropes. In our novice estimation, this product loses 2 stars for 3 major points: 1. The LED light seems to be simply too bright for a nocturnal animal at night (and for us, keeping our Seraphine in the bedroom), and there is no way to adjust it. This was fixed pretty easily with a black piece of duct tape over the LED, but it is noteable. 2. The product is kind of fragile and a bit leaky. One of the vines came off. I broke off an edge of one of the side walls by pressing against it (not too hard) while trying to install it. And (as seen in the attached video), we had to get some cheap pet-safe, water-safe putty to keep the water from leaking out so easily. In our case this provided an opportunity to make a beautiful piece of amethyst seem look more like part of the cave. However, in any case, water escapes from the cave-mouth a bit too easily, broken or not, for my liking, and I had to strategically put some additional putty around the cave mouth to keep more moisture in. 3. The water drip is too loud (for sensitive human sleepers, which likely means for sensitive exotic animals too). The design is such that the water drips into the cave floor, and then through holes in the cave floor into the below reservoir. I think the loudness actually occurs with the water dripping from the cave floor into the reservoir. I put moss on the floor to pad the drip (which may result in mold before long - will need to closely monitor if our springtails can keep up). We also still need to come up with a DIY solution for the louder drip into the reservoir. TLDR: We’re talking a lot of DIY to make this product actually appropriate for a Crested Gecko. Not sure if that’s on-value for an $80 product. Seraphine and her enclosure are quickly becoming a passionate, emotionally-restorative hobby of mine, so I don’t personally mind as much. But buyer need beware that this product is far from perfect out of the box.

Perfect for snakes; drinking and soaking!
AMAZING! It was a bit bigger than I expected. I have a juvenile ball python measuring about a foot in a 20 gallon tank, and he has plenty of space to curl up and crawl all over this fountain! This was the first time I had actually seen him drink! Previously he just had a stone pond that he would sometimes crawl over. It was super easy to assemble, no noise, and looks beautiful :) he immediately explored the cave and started taking sips from it. I think snakes up to 2-3 feet can fit inside with ease; anything larger may only be able to use it as a drinking fountain. The inside has a small layer of water so they can also soak (perfect for shedding). Thank you to the company! <3 (temps in pictures were temporary as I had just turned the heat back on, promise im not torturing the little guy :3)

Great product; recommended
I bought this for my gargoyle gecko's 18x18x24" tank. Product arrived quickly and undamaged. Set up was straight-forward. I recommend doing a thorough cleaning before set up (as with all new products). The pump is very quiet - the only time you can really hear it is when the water level gets low, so this is an easy way to tell when the water needs to be topped up. Typically I have to add water once or twice a week (we live in an arid region). The cave adds a fairly consistent level of humidity to the environment, which is a great 'leveler' to the daily misting. He happily eats from the food dish on the top - he seems content with the elevated feeding platform. He occasionally hangs out inside the cave, but not often. Overall the cave serves as a water source, humidifier, feeding platform and low-level light source for him, and adds waterfall "ambience" the room.

Great
I bought this waterfall for my tortoise. He loved it. The pump broke. Where can I but the pump with light?
