This is great tape and we've had much success. My wife used it for some baseboard edging in RV use and I've used it for LED lighting. It bonds like crazy except in my truck there is one spot that no matter how much I prep and try it won't stay in that one spot. A bit tough keeping your fingers off the tape when dispensing for the best result.

This tape didn't stick at all. Total waste of money. Try something else. Wouldn't even stick paper! Can't believe I spent money on this product.

A nationally famous company advised I install solar panels with this stuff. Yeah ? Bet me ! I would never have believed what I was told until I tried it. I put three, 59 pound, solar panels on top of my motor home over a year ago and, even, unwillingly, driving 90 mph down a Rocky Mountain, they've never come even the slightest bit loose. I ordered another roll, just to keep on hand, and have used most of it. Looks like I'll buy another soon. Darned good product.

Mounted my 15lb 80W solar panel to the top of my truck camper...it seems to be holding well. Aluminum brackets to fibreglass. Interesting that the comments I get from people I tell are mostly "it will never work" ! I have always been impressed with 3M products so I hope they don't let me down.

Eh. Cheap tape.

Works perfectly for my application. I am an alarm dealer and occasionally I have to move a transmitter on a window and this is the same adhesive that the manufacturers use. I would like it in white instead of grey but that is not a real problem.

I bought this to reinforce the Mopar headliner I bought for my 2014 Jeep Wrangler. This tape is identical to what is on the headliner and worked great for me. Also, I got the best price for 3/4" on Amazon.

I use this tape and 3M 4942 VHB tape. Both are very good but the 4941 is somewhat better on irregular surfaces.IMPORTANT: For best results, both surfaces should be nice and warm when making the initial bond. If you need to, use a hair dryer or heater. In my experience, if the surface is cold or even cool, the bond will not be as strong.
