Portable and packed full of features. I was a little skeptical of this system but a friend turned me on to it. There is a bit of a learning curve, but if you can responsibly handle a weapon you can have this technique mastered with a cleaning or two. It doesn't come with a lot of patches but I did locate refills in several sporting goods stores. I think it is much easier to use than my traditional cleaning kit. You wont be let down by this quality built product.

So very few things are as well thought out and HIGH QUALITY as this awesome kit! The great price is shocking for this kind of quality. All of the brass components are super tight fitting and really sturdy and thick. It isn't like other gun cleaning kits where the rods bend when you apply pressure. The steel braided cables are coated in clear polyvinyl or whatever and are so sturdy that you can actually push a bore obstruction out with it. The pouch is as tough as camels knees and the layout is very practical. I would actually give this a higher rating if I could..it is actually that awesome. I will say, it only comes with Otis' version of some kind of CLP, so buy a few extra 1/2 ounce bottles of your choice of lube to add to the kit.

As an owner of a .223 and a .45, this kit is perfect. Lots of different tools, high quality and very compact. My only complaint is the patch system takes getting used to. Following their instructions, my patches often become frayed before cleaning, but it's possible that I just need to get the technique down.Overall, very nicely put together kit, and be sure to buy the extra patch/cleaner bundle at the same time as they'll go fast.

Once you have your solvents and oils, this is the perfect set to provide the remaining parts needed for a thorough carbine cleaning - cable, notch, pads, t-handle, brass bore brushes, rods and pics. I recommend getting the bone tool to clean your BCG and a star chamber tool to clean your chamber.

Haha everything is awesome if you don't mind the entire bottle of clp dumping out and saturating everything inside the kit..

Product description indicates this can also be used for 12-gauge shotgun... HOWEVER it doesn't mention that no shotgun accessories are included in the kit. Instructions mention a 12-gauge cleaning brush, as well as the "patch savers" that should be used with the patches on shotguns. None of these are included in this kit.Will be returning and trying another Otis kit that specifically shows the shotgun cleaning accessories in the picture and lists them specifically in the product description and details.

This kit has everything you could need for basic cleaning for smaller firearms. It is also nicely compact for storage with other items in a safe or bag.

Tout ce qu'il faut, y compris l'huile pour la lubrification.Rien à re dire sur ce kit de nettoyage aux larges capacités en ce qui concerne les calibres.La photo n'est pas mensongère, il s'agit de tout ce qui se trouve dans la petite boite.Seul bémol, mais je pinaille!! Il est un peu difficile de ranger les câbles après utilisation, mais ce n'est qu'un détail!!

Pq pas 5 étoiles ? juste parce que le kit est vendu pour nettoyer du calibre .223 / 5.56 et du cal. 9mm jusqu'au .45Dans le kit j'ai deux brosses en laiton, une avec .223 frappé dessus et l'autre .35 qui pour moi correspond au cal. 9mm mais pas au .45 (sinon je devrai avoir une troisième brosse avec .45 frappé dans le métal).En tableau de conversion j'ai : .35 = 8,890mm et .45 = 11,430mm donc 2,54mm en plus, la brosse .35 ne devrait pas nettoyer grand chose dans un canon de cal .45 je pense.Pourtant à regarder, aucune place vacante pour une 3ème brosse dans le kit, donc je déduis que la brosse .35 est destinée également pour du .45, n'ayant pas encore d'arme de cal .45, je ne m'en tracasse pas outre mesure, on verra si un jour....Sinon matériaux de qualité, finition soignée, étui robuste et bien pensé le tout dans une dimension très petite, OTIS mérite sa réputation.
