SwansonUltra High Potency Beta-Sitosterol 30 Veg Capsules

I read about Beta-Sistosterol while looking for something that help me with my long term case ofBPH. I wasn't expecting miracles after trying other supplements, but I came across an article aboutthis supplement and was impressed with the company and the reasonable prices. After taking this for three weeks, twice a day, I experienced a dramatic relief on my usual symptoms. I've ordered more, andhope this continues, but I felt I had to give it a shout out.

Nothing to dislike. Works great, Dr. was amazed at how clear his arteries were.

I've never tried a supplement like this before and was unsure as to its claims. I decided to try it since the price was reasonable and it was only a 30 day supply so I wouldn't have a lot of pills sitting around if it didn't work. I was quite surprised at how well the product worked. I was going to the bathroom 3-5 times a night before trying it and after I started it, I went down to 1-2 times a night which helped greatly with my sleep and rest and I have a little more energy because I can rest easier.

I tried this stuff for awhile several years ago and it was quite effective for my BPH symptoms. For whatever reason I stopped taking it, but a few months ago my symptoms started getting bad again. It started bothering me more and more during the day as well as I just couldn’t stop having the urge to pee on some days. So I ordered and started taking this again. Taking one a day seemed to help, but when I started taking one in the morning and one at night it really has been a godsend. I now have no symptoms during the day and just an occasional night when I have to get up more than once or twice. 5 stars for me.

You can always count on the highest quality on any Swanson product. Two different integrative physicians have validated that Swanson vitamins are a very good choice for anyone who believes in taking vitamins to ward off health issues. Any man with prostate issues should be taking this product.

Waste of money for me. This high potency beta-sitosterol has a nasty side effect for me. Makes my muscles tense when trying to go to sleep at night.

I've been using the 160 mg version of this for about the past year. When I went to reorder this time I noticed they discontinued that version, and now the dosage is twice as strong + they added zinc and something else I can't remember right now. Pumpkinseed maybe? Both are said to be good for the prostate. Strange thing is the pill size is identical. How you get twice as much product, +2 other ingredients in the same size capsule? Does the original version have a ton of filler or what? There is no mention of this on the label.Anyway, I had about a dozen of the old capsules left, but switched over to the new version. I noticed my symptoms coming back. Switched back over to the old version for a couple of days, and they improved. So, it doesn't make sense to me but the old version worked better at half the strength.So, I'm going to write the manufacture and see exactly what they did, but this formula does not seem to be effective as the old one, although it still does provide some relief. Several stars removed.

Good product. Helped significantly with urine flow after about 3 weeks. I'm concerned about the high dose of selenium and wonder if it is enough to cause toxicity over time.
