Amazing slip and moisture for natural hair!
Starwest Organic Slippery Elm Bark Powder is a game-changer for my type 4 low porosity natural hair. It provides incredible slip, making detangling so much easier while leaving my strands soft and moisturized. It blends seamlessly with the other herbs I use. I love that it’s a pure, high-quality herbal product with no additives—perfect for my natural hair care routine.

Helps dogs with digestive issues
I was recommended to try this out for my dog. It helped him digest better and produce solid stools. The packaging arrived closed in a resealable bag.

Good product but pricey
I’m on my second order of this Slippery Elm powder, and it works as beautifully as the Slippery Elm powder I previously bought in bulk at a natural food co-op about 30 minutes away. I use it as directed in Nancy Evelyn’s The Herbal Medicine Chest. I was happy to find this on Amazon when we were sheltering in place; normally I buy it at a natural food co-op about 30 minutes away. I finally got savvy and compared the price. Eek! This brand is four times more expensive than the co-op’s bulk product. There’s nothing more convenient than ordering from Amazon but next time I will head back to the co-op.

Healed my dogs achy belly
A few months back my dogs started vomitting, and having really bad diarrhea to the point where it looked a bit bloody and started to worry me ... I knew they were fully vaccinated and arent around other dogs so I knew it couldnt be anything that serious like parvo. So I automatically did some research and put them on a bland diet of pumpkin puree, white rice & a dash of Boiled chicken and sprinkled about 1/8 of a tsp of the slippery elm powder into their food every other day and gave them about a tbsp of unflavored pedialyte without dyes and they were fine in a matter of days and were finally getting back to themselves and pooping normally. This would of ran us thousands of dollars at the vet, only to get sent home with antibiotics 🙄🤦♀️ so any fur parents that are having this same issue , it really works! Just remember to always keep your babies fully hydrated 💜

Great for bad stomach!
I have a horrific stomach.. I also have acid reflux. This weird tea taken twice a day-daily has helped me like I can’t imagine. Took about 6 months kinda off and on. But for the most part my stomach is way way tougher. I don’t hurt all the time. Still have to eat carefully, but this tea has definitely helped me. I’m ordering it for my Dad right now. Warning: it’s kinda nasty. You will need to acquire a tast for it. Start with 1/8 teaspoon in a cup of Very Hit water. Sip as it cools. I call it my sludge tea. Hope it helps one of you too.

Good for my hair cleanser
I don't use conventional store bought hair products. This organic slippery elm has done great mixed with my scalp cleanser (organic soaked oats blended then strained through cheesecloth). My type 4 hair is doing well!
