For instance, when I would sit in a chair with armrests, or a car with door armrests, the case would get caught on the armrest and break the plastic swivel parts. I got so tired of breaking plastic cases. However, when I found the Turtleback case with metal parts and tested it daily for more than 3 years, it has held up with excellent reliability!!! I like the design including the magnetic closure flap, the material choices and the size choices for different phones. If you want a sturdy case, try it. Most are prone to breakage of the clip unit that hold the holster to one's belt. I've had that happen over and over again with other products, when the holster is accidentally snagged by something. I've been using this one now for well over a year, and it's still in great shape! Further, this holster's clip is leather covered, preventing the metal clip from possibly damaging my belt.
