Plaidypus Lost Paperback – February 1, 2013

My 4 year old and I check out 40 books every 2-3 weeks from the library. One out of 100 books go on the "Must own for our little library list". She loves it and I haven't minded reading it 20 times so far...actually she now reads it to me. We're talking to Grandma to see if she can stitch together our own plaidypus..I agree with the previous reviewer who stated that they should have included a pattern to make him. We bought this book right away and still read it at least weekly.

My son came home from kindergarten talking non-stop about this book. He loves the funny things Plaidypus gets to do but also gets sad every time Plaidypus gets lost. I think its a fun book that teaches about consequences & I was very happy to find a used library book on Amazon since our local library doesn't carry this book at all.

One of my favorite stories when I taught Kindergarten. I've purchased this book and made a platypus out of my husband's plaid shirt to go along with it. My grandson likes both the book and "plaidypus".

My son is obsessed with platypus's and when he saw this at the library, he had to have it. After renewing it way too many times, I snagged his own copy on amazon. We read it at least once a day. It's a very sweet little book and a great purchase. Would highly recommend! And yes, we have our own "plaidypus" now, just because of the book!

My 3 & 5 year olds love this book. read it every night before bed for a week straight when we got it. Now we read it about once a week and they quote the book all the time!

My granddaughter loved this book and can even read it. One of her favorites and would recommend to everyone with a small child.

Great message kids relate to - losing stuff. Its fun and has great illustrations. Like that everyone looks normal too, not too skinny and blonde and like they "fit in". A book about real kids. Very much recommended.

Daughter loves this book. Read it at school so I had to find it.
