Compatible Nuance® Dragon PowerMic III Microphone 3' Straight Cable - Easy Install

This curly cord replacement cable for the Nuance PowerMic III is pretty good so far. The video-based instructions for installation were excellent, and the tools provided to help with the task were essential and perfect. I did the replacement in about 5 minutes or less.I hope the cord will stretch out a bit as time goes on. The only thing that is a little weak appearing is the USB plug. I uploaded a picture that shows the tiny metal prongs that keep the USB plug in place. It feels secure enough, but I wonder about the longevity of the USB plug's ability to stay attached. However, it is a nice feature in the first place to have a "lock" for the USB plug.I think this is an nice quality cord replacement, and I look forward to using it in my daily job as a physician dictating notes for patient encounters to my laptop/EMR workstation throughout the day. It's a nice accessory for the already awesome PowerMic III.

I needed a short cord for attaching to my laptop when I travel.Got this. It had the needed screwdrivers and I maybe took 10 minutes to replace.Works like the original.YAY

Fairly easy to replace the cord, especially with the small screwdrivers provided. As with other reviews, my last replacement, with the same product, only lasted 1-2 years. If the computer seems to lose its connection to the mic or the dictate button stops working this is a cheap fix.

Installation a snap with the included tools and the cable is about twice as long as original.

Kit has everything you need for installation. The cable is 9ft and works perfect. Installation took me 5 minutes. This is highly recommended if you own power mic III.

Kit has everything you need. Hard to find specialty screwdrivers at perfect thickness. Installing was a snap, hampered only by trying to get the rubber feet off the PowerMic as not to damage them. Other than that, it was an easy cable install. Reassembly was a bit of a challenge lining up all the components for a flush fit. Highly recommend this kit.

My computer is on the floor. The cord is not very stretchy. Coils are tight. I have had to pull and stretch it in order to rest it on the desk.
