BattlBox - Survival and Outdoor Gear Subscription Box: Basic

I’m a happy customer. I’ve been looking for a good quality subscription box for my husband and son. I wanted quality useable products and on a budget because I’m not wealthy but I love my Guys!! First box was a hit and looking forward to our next box.

My husband loved getting his "own" subscription box!! Most if items are really cool and will b3 added to our "go bag!" In our first box I just really didn't like the huge thermos...he loved it saying it was good quality and would keep his coffee hot on long trip!! I did cancel after I ordered it.was just using the sale over holidays but have since started it again because he was so happy going thru each item...just like I am qgen I get one if my subscription beauty or cause boxes!! Well worth the full price but hope they will add sale prices thru out year for extra special boxes!!

I did A LOT of homework before deciding to join BattlBox. I read about and watched review/unboxing videos on literally every other survival/tactical/prep subscription box out there. BattlBox was the only standout in my opinion that consistently provided quality items.

I've purchased several of these before, and found them to be hit and miss. Some items I could use, some not. Which was fine - the items I could use plus the surprise of opening a box and not knowing what I would find always made it worth the value. One thing I could count on is that the items were always survival-oriented. But this latest box was a joke. A backseat organizer (i.e., a piece of plastic with some holes punched in it), some velcro, a dehumidifier and some ground coffee? I don't drive, I don't have a coffee maker and I already have a dehumidifier (and even if I didn't, what does that have to do with survival? What does ANY of this have to do with survival?). I realize there are supply chain problems but they would have been better off not shipping anything and just skipping this month rather than sending this out. The whole thing is just cheap, insulting and pointless. Oh, and when I went to try to return it, turns out they want to charge me for the privilege AND force me to take it to a UPS dropoff point rather than just return it for free through Amazon's normal channels. What a joke. I'm out $100+ with no reasonable way to even return it.

I bought this for my boyfriend because he had mentioned it and he likes outdoor/bug out bag products. However we're disappointed. The price point doesn't reflect the products you receive. Also he really was hoping for a knife or tactical gadget. We got 1 bag of coffee, flint rope, a metal spork contraption for camp that isn't very impressive and a bug bite extraction plastic tool. The coffee was good and he has used the bug bite extractor for pimples 🤣. We expected more things in the box. I think there are better companies you should consider for your money and experience!

Look, if you have 200 bucks to blow a month for a mixed bag of gear/samples/marketing/the occasional awesome tool or product related to outdoors/survival/self defense/etc, then this is the subscription box for you.It is fun, you do get good stuff and sometimes you get disappointed with items, their own brands or inflated MSRPs to make it feel like its worth the price.Ultimately after a year of boxes I canceled. Too many mixed bags and TERRIBLE service, like, it's not worth asking service.Barring consistancy issues, poor service and being overly expensive, it is a solid box with potential. If they can readjust their pricing, come with more consistant offerings and improve their service, I'll be back.
