invest in your children! great book

These books are wonderful and encouraging must read for every mother. It really helps me understand my son and what he may be going through. I have no regret buying this book.

This book is practical in principle and example for appealing to a boy's heart and guiding him into responsible, courageous living. I've raised 2 boys and have a 3rd still at home, and I just picked it up to glance through it--and I was hooked. So much good advice with many real-life examples. I was challenged and reminded about many habits I've forgotten to incorporate. Good for all ages of boys, little through young adult. I recommend it!

Wish I had this book before my son was 16. Good book.

Bought this as a gift for my daughter, and since they offered a kindle version for a few dollars more I got a copy for myself. I have really enjoyed reading this book. My daughter has been enjoying it, (when she can find the time to read it). It is an extremely good fit for my daughter since it pretty much is right in line with her approach to motherhood. I highly recommend this book.

Great ! I think all moms ,especially first time moms need to purchase this book !

This book has been good so far, I'm about 1/2 way through, so will post an update when I finish.I feel like the title is a bit (just a bit) deceptive, as a great deal of advice provided should be given to mom's and dad's. I hope that there is more mommy focus as I go along.

As a single mom of 2 boys.I leant alot from this book. I enjoy learning in my car.I like the Biblical perspective on issues.

This book is nice, but quite outdated. Says boys like to go out… they don’t the last 20 years the struggle is to dosconnect them from computer games. They cannot be motivated with CDs and tapes. Praying and cookung should be the best for their future. The modern cover does not fit the content, which comes from the 80s..

Every mother should have this book. So precious!!

really poorly writen: was very disapointed. not worth the buy

I got this book when I found out that I was pregnant with a boy. I was a bit worried because I haven't had much exposure to boys, and at first, the book had some valuable insight. However, it quickly became quite repetitive and I feel like it only scratches the surface. It is also quite religious, just so you know.
