Puede hacerse un poco pesado si no estás acostumbrado, debido a sus novecientas páginas, pero a mí me ha encantado. Lo compré en inglés, para practicar un poco el idioma, y la experiencia ha sido fascinante. No le doy más estrellas porque no se puede.

A marvel of a book! It took me one year to read slowly in Spanish and English. It made me visit all those places in the Alpujarras. There is so much strength hope love faith in this book. Thank you.

Yet again: easy to read, a real page turner and intriguing. Made me catch up and reeducate on many historical questions that did not carry so much importance before. Very enlightening!

Non è certo il miglior libro di I. Falcones anche se scrivere un romanzo storico su questo argomento in questi nostri anni, è stato davvero un gesto encomiabile. Ho trovato, però, il racconto troppo lungo, utile per più narrare la cronaca di quello che successe in quegli anni che per dare un messaggio o una morale che, invece, ci si aspetterebbe. Probabilmente il 'messaggio' c'era ma si è perso nella lunghezza del romanzo.....
