Surprisingly comfortable for a driving moccasin

Bought these for my wedding, bought 3 pair, 1 for me and 2 for my groomsmen. They fitted perfectly and were comfortable. I gave them as part of the gifts they we're given.

My normal shoe size is 9 and these fit a little on the big size but I still love them. Comfortable and great good looking walking shoes. I highly recommend them.

I'll start with that they break in nicely. I could use an extra wide, but it only takes a few wearings for the wide size to break in and be comfortable. They are good quality. The only reason they needed replacement is that the soles seem to have hollow cells/air pockets (by design) and I noticed the heels had worn enough hey became spongy and it seemed to be matter of time before they wore through. My first pair were worn for about 18 months and still get used as patio shoes/slippers. These likely are worthy of a 5 star review. They did last longer than most in my experience, but I can't really gauge how much extra life was the result of reduced use during the pandemic period and for a while, I made an effort to keep them for driving and switch to other shoes when I knew I would do a lot of walking.

Comfort

The shoe is very comfortable. Decent slip on that doesn't require a shoe horn to put on. It's roomy but not too loose. Overall it looks great. Decent grip on the floor. It could have better arch support.I was skeptical of the inserts. The above photo is after taking off shoe without wearing any socks. About 95% of the time they don't come out all the way. They just require a slight toe push to get them back in place. So it's not ideal, but this isn't a deal breaker where I'm going to return them.I'd give them 5 starts but really wanted more arch support. It's hard to find a shoe that has this. I may try different insert as I am always fighting plantar fasciitis.
