Works on a Chevy Colorado with alittle modification
I installed this on my 2010 Chevy Colorado. I had to fabricate a bracket to make it work but it was super simple. I mounted the push button pull cable on the dash and ran the cable through the grommet in the floor for the ebrake cable. Works great and is much more reliable than the electric actuator. I stole the pictured design from a Colorado website (355nation) and copied it.

Get a better clamp.
Had to add a better lower cable clamp as the factory one kept sliding. But works great compared to the stock thermal actuator.

Simple fast and easy !!
A nice and simple way to convert to a more reliable setup. It is quick to install and should be a consideration over the factory setup !

Not posi lok
This is not the original posi lok I spoke to posi lok and they said there are other companies making these. My handle broke and I had to get a new one. Also some of the parts they sent werent as strong so I had to go buy parts to replace them. Wish I had known I was not buying the original posi lok.

Missing insteuctions
System seems to work very well. Installation wasn't that difficult but it didn't come with printed instructions and was missing a small piece to hold the cable down

great system for 100% reliability for 4wd
came with no instructions and open package, missing one part (the cabler clamp). Found instructions online and made my own cable clamp. One step on the instructions was incorrect: you can not put a bolt in as it described, had to take part of it apart to get the bolt in. But, after figuring it out, it works perfectly: engages when I want, no more depending on an electrical soledoid. Love it.
