Two in the Kitchen (Williams-Sonoma): A Cookbook for Newlyweds

Got as a wedding gift and unfortunately the cover appeared to have slight water damage. Not so much that it was ruined and I still gave it as a gift because it was a last minute purchase, but would have wanted a replacement. Recipes looked tasty and easy enough for newlyweds, I liked the section about entertaining. It's definitely great if the couple has basic experience with cooking and pretty basic ingredient collection. I gave it as part of a themed gift along with some custom blended spices (because spices are expensive!) and the salt/pepper shakers from the couple's registry, but you could easily pair this with any other kitchen or food-related product for a cute, culinary themed gift. I actually liked the recipes and organization enough that I wish someone would have bought this for us when we were married!

I bought this cookbook as part of a wedding gift. Before wrapping it, I started looking through the recipes and I found some great keepers! I'm not getting married, but I had to pick up a copy for myself as well. Lots of great suggestions for breakfast combinations and simple, easy to execute recipes.

Awesome book, we lived how it was written and the ease of the recipes. Great if you entertain a lot

This was a wedding shower gift. The couple was thankful for it therefore I'd guess it is a good product.

I bought this as a gift for couple who loves to cook together in the kitchen. They have already used it a couple times and said that they love the recipes in the book and have marked many that they plan on making in the future!

THIS was a shower gift. Most couples have apartment things now a days, so money is most needed. I hate to just give a check so this book with a personal note written inside was said to personally have touched them.

I was pleased with the actual book - it was for a couple who have been in a long partnership(think over 13 years), and I was uncertain what to get for them. Then I discovered this book - however when received there was slight damage to one corner. I had no time to request a replacement as the wedding was to take place within a few days(2nd February). The problem was the packaging used to send it to me. A large padded bag was used - which could have been adequate as it was also folded in half- but had the cardboard carriers which amazon normally supply books in been used I feel this damage would not have occurred. I did email the suppliers on receipt- though stressed it was not so much a complaint as a suggestion to them to revisit the issue of how to pack. I did not receive any acknowledgement of my email. I doubt there would be much difference in cost for the packaging.
