Not what I expected
It does hold the hair down but I don't know how to use the toothbrush to help it lay down more. I did not experience any flakes. My niece recommended this brand to me and it lays her hair down. She's is more experienced in using the toothbrush on her hair.

Doesn't last.
I have stubborn 4c edges and whenever I used this edge booster it did not lay my edges down for more than 15 minutes. I had to add got2be spray to freeze my edges so they don't move.

Can’t live without this hair gel. If you’re a curly girl, you need this. I have 4c hair and it slicked everything back and hold it all day. ALL DAY. Even a small amount goes a long way. I will keep buying from this seller.

The jar I very small for the price..the beauty supply store has the larger jar for the same price
