Nice unit. Works TTL on my Sony RX10-Mk4
Immediately got some nice bird photos in terribly dark ambient light, yet with a very bright background. The extremes were too much for any camera, but with the TTL flash, I got some very nice shots. A bit spendy for a genuine Sony flash unit, but I doubt it will explode and self-destruct like my previous aftermarket flash! Other than the initial high price tag, what's not to love? The camera is dynamite. I figure it deserves a flash unit created by the camera's manufacturer...Basically, I discovered that if you cut corners on an external flash, you may live to regret it.

Awesome flash for Sony cameras
This flash is perfect for a Sony Alpha a6000 or a6300. I've used it on both and it works great. It provides a very bright flash, which allows me to bounce for nearly any shot. In continuous shooting mode you can get a flash for every 1-3 pictures snapped. TTL works great, and I have not tried any other modes. The head tilts and swivels to just about any configuration imaginable. The pouch it comes in can hold the flash and all the accessories. Great quality and provides TTL for cameras with MI shoe mount.Pros: quality, TTL, bright, somewhat compact, looks greatCons: overly bright for some uses

Great flash for A7 series of cameras
Great flash for A7 series of cameras. Full TTL control and nice display on flash. When you turn camera off the flash will turn off also. When you turn camera back on, the flash turns on also. Nice feature. Good all around flash that is smaller than giant flashes but not too small. Puts out plenty of flash power for my needs. This flash will also work as a master or slave flash to be used off camera if you want. Has manual control, TTL control and wireless control. Used with another sony flash on camera and you get high speed sync flash. This flash is made for A7 series of cameras and is the perfect fit.

Works sometimes!
The manual flash didn't work when I needed it to. I had to only press the "mode" button to switch between TTL and Manual but no matter what I tried and how many times I press the "mode" button it would not leave the TTL mode. I attempted turning the power on and off to see if that would correct the problem but still no help. Three hours later I picked up the flash and tried again and it worked! Not sure if I just got a bad one or it's really undependable. If all you need is TTL this seems like a nice flash, good size easy to use with Sony camera's.When I attempted to resolve this problem with Focus Camera they said I would need to contact Amazon. I contacted Amazon, they said to contact Focus Camera. I would at least choose a different company if you need a flash!

I love this flash but....
Okay, according to Amazon, I bought this in Dec 2017 right when I was going from an amateur photographer to the next step. I'd just booked my first Bar Mitzvah and knew that my smaller flash just wasn't going to cut it. My hopes for this one was stronger, more diffused lighting, especially because I knew that the venue would be very dark. I did everything... but the light was harsh, so, so harsh. This led me to buying a Gary Fong diffuser... it's clunky and rubbery but really helped diffuse the light and give me more of an even look. So we're at $298 (price when I bought it) or $278 today + Gary Fong $59 = $337.Now you're worried about folding up the GF, setting it up, strapping it on, putting the half dome thing in perfectly etc.. all for $337.Fast forward 3 years, and ton of shoots later, I've realized what an investment convenience is. So I got a Godox - a circular flash with it's own battery (no AA), a dome diffuser, a diffuser plate, a four-wing reflector, a bounce card, a honey comb, color filters, and a snoot so more than the equivalent (and better) than the Gary Fong all for $318.Hands down, if you're in the market for this flash, I urge you, even beg you to look at this guy: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07R7L6FZS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Pricey, but worth it if you plan to shoot in auto.
Pricey, but worth it. The build quality is much better than the generic flashes commonly sold. The flash itself is excellent for what I use it for: shooting people at events, bot indoors and outdoors. The fill flash works great outside and is ideal for indoor flash photos. I only saw light drop off when shooting from a distance of 10 feet or greater. I usually shoot from around 4-6 feet from people, and this is perfect for that. Set your shutter to 1/60 and the rest to auto, and you have a very smart flash setup that should produce excellent photos in almost any lighting situation.

Good flash, terrible battery life
I've been very happy after a month with this flash. I use this with my Sony a6000 and it's sized just right for the compact camera body. High speed sync works flawlessly and the TTL metering is great. I also use it to wirelessly trigger a Nissin i40 flash; this also works perfectly every time.My only gripe is battery life, which is perhaps a necessity with such a small flash. It only takes two AA batteries, so it drains them quickly. Throw a few extra pairs in your camera bag and buy this flash without any hesitation. Excellent addition to any e-mount camera kit.

Does Its Job With Accuracy And Aplomb
As you would guess, well integrated with my Alpha 7C. It just works, giving the results I expect.
