I JUST received this aesthetically beautiful pen 2 weeks early! Yay! Just gorgeous, has got quite a heft to it, but in a good way. For me it's a little heavy when posted, so I'm good to not post. This looks like an extremely expensive work of art. That said, I got a Fine nib and it is a little scratchy, but as I found out with my other fine nib purchases, they smooth out greatly with use, so it's almost a non issue at this time. I used the Jacques Herbin Emerald of Chivor bottled ink with it and it is a great classy marriage. The middle 'ring' has Jinhao engraved and this just looks as if it's 14K gold....I wish.....but that's OK, I settle for the enjoyment this brings to me at a bargain price. I think this pen will bring me lasting enjoyment as the Jinhao name delivers, and I'm anxious to try some of their other offerings. It came well packaged in a beautiful burnt orange metallic box, would be a wonderful gift, yeah, to me! ha ha

I received this beautiful pen today, the texture and look are really professional, it's a little heavy but not uncomfortable, as soon as i put bottled ink into the converter it began to write, i will be purchasing the red one as well, i will recommend purchasing at this time, i will return with feedback if there are any problems

This was my first fountain pen, so aficionados, take it with a grain of salt, but I really like this pen. It's a bit heavy--it's definitely got a metal body on it--but it's easy to fill, easy to clean, and writes perfectly well for me. I use it daily.Best of all, it doesn't take disposable cartridges... which I'm not sure why you'd ever use something disposable with a fountain pen, but whatever. This is my go-to sustainable style of pen that doesn't have me tossing empty ink cartridges in the trash. Refilling it takes about 60 seconds to get the ink pot, unscrew the pen, and fill it. Small price to pay for something as lovely as this.

I was not expecting much for a sub $20 fountain pen and was concerned that the raised detailing on the pen would be bothersome. As soon as it came in I loaded up the converter with some ink, didn't even bother to rinse the nib or anything, and the ink came out smoothly and flawlessly on the first scribble! There is no feedback from the nib, no skips in the ink flow, etc.I only took off 1 star because I find the cap is very loose/doesn't click into place when trying to post. Besides that one little thing this pen is great. It is gorgeous to look at, feels good in the hand, the etching doesn't cause any discomfort, and it has a good heft to it even without being posted.I am just blown away with the materials, craftsmanship, and performance. I was also very happy with how quickly it was delivered. I am looking forward to adding more Jinhao pens to my collection.

Absolutely Beautiful. Really. I am always cautious not to expect too much from any pen I buy even if it's expensive. You are playing roulette as even the more expensive pens are a toss up. Money doesn't always buy a pleasant writing experience. This pen is well done. I've had it for several months and it is by far one of my favourites. No skipping, smooth ink flow with not a hint of hesitation. The cap posts well and feels exquisite in my hand, well balanced.

This is a very pretty pen. It is nicer to hold as it's design makes it less slippery. It would make a nice gift for a teen or an adult.

Stylo plume acheté par curiosité et franchement je n'en suis pas déçu. Niveau qualité globale on n'est pas loin d'un Hémisphère de chez Waterman. La glisse est correcte, pas de défaut remarqué, et sa déco est très sympa avec le dragon sur le capuchon et les nuages sur le corps du stylo. J'attends de voir l'usure de la plume et des parties dorées car comme souvent avec les produits chinois les dorures partent vite. Pour 21€ je mets un 5/5 sans hésité pour l'instant.

Wie bekommt man halbwüchsige Kinder dazu, nicht nur am Smartphone rumzutippen, sondern auch mal was mit der Hand zu schreiben?Dieser Füller könnte eine Antwort sein, die zumindest bei uns funktioniert hat.Das Schreibgerät sieht bestechend aus und macht einen soliden Eindruck. Die Feder ist fein und für meinen Geschmack etwas sehr hart, erlaubt aber andererseits ein sehr präzises Schreiben. Der Tintenfluss ist gleichmäßig und sauber. Das Anschreiben funktioniert auch nach einigen Tagen ohne Nutzung noch zuverlässig.Nachtrag:Wegen des Erfolgs, den ich beim Verschenken des grauen Füllers hatte, habe ich auch die Versionen in rot und orange bestellt. Beide Füller sehen umwerfend aus und schreiben so gut, wie der zuerst gekaufte graue. Sie unterscheiden sich aber in einem wesentlichen Aspekt: Das Drachenmuster besteht aus einer ausgestanzten, vergoldeten Folie, die dem roten Corpus aufliegt und ist deshalb der Berührung unmittelbar ausgesetzt. Das fühlt sich unangenehm rau an und ich fürchte, der unvermeidbare Kontakt mit dem Handschweiß wird die Goldbeschichtung rasch abnutzen und das Grundmaterial der Metallfolie korrodieren. Hier wäre eine schützende Lackschicht eine gute Idee gewesen - so wie bei der grauen Version.So bleibt bei den Versionen in orange und rot der Eindruck eines wirklich schönen Schreibgeräts, das wohl rasch unansehnlich wird.
