Sea of Thieves: Athena's Fortune

Never would I have thought that a book based off of one of my favorite video games would be this good. If you like pirates, read it! If you play Sea of Thieves, read it! If you like magic, mystery, or just want an all around good story, read it.

I did not expect much from a novel bases off of a video game. However, since I love the game, I gave it a shot. And wow, am I surprised! This is actually a very well written great fantasy/pirate novel that stands on it's own! Highly recommend.

I am a huge fan of Sea of Thieves, so I thought I’d give this a shot. I was very impressed! Thought the book was well written, and it sucked me right in. Now when I’m playing the game I find myself thinking about different parts of the book and imagining the story throughout the game. Highly recommended! The physical book quality is also very nice.

So I have to say as a story it is fantastic! The writing leaves me wanting at times, but I feel if the writer continues that with time and practice it will get better. If you enjoy pirate stories then you should give this book a read!

Being a big fan of the game series, this lore book doesn't disappoint by explaining the origins of the companies, Gold Boarder, etcetera, all while providing an excellent tale of two pirate crews that forge an epic adventure upon the Sea of Thieves, encountering villains ans treasures of all kinds. Definite recommendation for people who play the game or just want a fun pirate adventure.

This is a book based off of a video game, 'Sea of Thieves'. We have been reading it together and I am impressed with how well written it is. The vocabulary and description in the books is phenomenal. Would definitely recommend.

If you play Sea of a Thieves I highly recommend this read. It gives so much context to the characters and their back stories especially with the release of Tall Tales. Do yourself s favor and pick up this book. It is a very easy read. It is worth it.

Good read if you can’t get enough of the game. Want to know the origins of the GH? Hoping for another regarding the reapers and FH.

This book is brilliant, if you actually play the incredible game that is sea of thieves, and want to find out some of the phenomenal amounts out lore in the game, or just fancy reading an adventurous swash-buckling, pirate book, then this is the book for you. What more could I ask for?

Bought for my son who wanted to read this after playing hours and hours of Sea of Thieves on Xbox.He loved it -read the book in 3 nights and really enjoyed it - Looking for more of the same if possible!5 stars

Pre-ordered in April and had to wait until October. A gripping read. I had to ration myself to a chapter a night or I'd never have put it down.
