Love It
I bought this item because I really like to pull, and get distracted quite easily. Even though I only weight 22 lbs, I frequently enjoying trying to chase after things much larger. Normally, my dad lets me get away with it, but we've got a trip that will entail a walk through an airport in a couple days, so he was thinking it might be better to keep my leash short.Durability-wise, it seems just as well-built as any other I've been walked on. The handle is well-padded and stitching/material doesn't appear cheap. One use note though, it's best if I'm in a harness when using a lead this short. As my dad and I quickly found out, the semi-vertical angle means that when I pull even a little bit, I quickly start choking and coughing.Other than that, we're happy and I'd recommend to all my dog-friends***My Rating Criteria***Build Quality(47.5%) - 5.0 StarsEfficacy(47.5%) - 5.0 StarsPost-Sale Support(0.0%) - n/aPackaging/Presentation(5.0%) - 4.0 StarsWeighted Average(100.0%) - 5.0 Stars

Best leash I own!!
I own two adult German Shepherds. Admittedly, my female has issues. I love her to death, but she is a psycho about other dogs. It's a dominance/fear reaction; yeah yeah, not gong into depth to save you the boring "I love my crazy dog" speech. Now, Molly's behavior has become an issue. Like, bite risk issue. So it's led to me (yes, trainer, behavioralist, AND vet recommended, trust me, it is better than euthanasia because of a dog fight) needing to use both a prong collar and gentle leader while walking her in public in order to be able to handle her without risk. Having a severe behavioral issue dog changes your life a lot. You avoid certain places, you adapt your routine. But all the home life practice in the universe cannot prepare you for the crazy sh*t that can happen in the real world, so we do our best to protect them as best we can in that big scary place past our doors. When I purchased this leash, I intended to use it exactly as I have. And I spent DAYS looking for a leash that would fit my needs. I've held off reviewing because I need to post a pic but I realized that I should post it now and add the pic later because YOU SHOULD BUY THIS. I use this to split Molly's gentle leader with the prong collar on the same leash so I don't have to have a long double ended training lead wrapped uncomfortably around my palm, which impairs my ability to walk my other dog at the same time. And it works WONDERS. Having the handle, I can lead her by that, or I can clip on a longer lead to the D ring for more relaxed explorations (hiking vs city) while maintaining safety. I can also clip the lead handle down if I want to just have a short lead on her, say for just her gentle leader. The length is PERFECT - great for a relaxed heel, not long like most short leads are, which I love because both my shepherds are trained in heel. The bungee means if she lunges it doesn't snap the prong collar as hard and lead to potential injuries because of the strain. And the quality is FANTASTIC for the cost. Like, I'd have thought this was a $30-50 lead. It is higher quality than any other leash I have, and I've dropped over $100 into leashes alone to find something that works on her. So... yeah. Buy it. The high reviews aren't kidding. It's worth every cent. I will add pictures as soon as I take some!

Excellent extension leash with style!
I use a heavy (400 pound) power wheelchair and have a wraparound belt leash that goes around the back of the chair. Then I add a short traffic leash to the belt leash to connected to my service dog’s harness. I recently needed a new one and decided to try this brand because it looked like the blue would accent the blue on his harness nicely. I am very pleased with this and we have gotten lots of comments on how good it looks In this configuration. It appears to be well made with heavy duty hardware at both ends. I like the fact that the traffic handle is available, but Velcro’s to the leash so it doesn’t flap around when you aren’t holding it.My dog as well trained and walks in heel position, but the trainer had recommended a bungee (not flexi) piece since it would be connected directly to the chair And this one seems to be working just the way we want. My dog seems comfortable and happy walking next to the chair with this set up.And obviously, you can’t beat the price for this quality. This is not a thin ribbon leash, it’s a regular seatbelt type texture and thickness. It won’t work well for someone who wants a ribbon type traffic leash they can scrunch up and hold in their fist, but as an extension piece it’s working very well for us.

Worked Perfectly to Control Pulling
I own a young, stubborn, 80 lb pit-bull/lab mix. He gets very excited going on walks and I have struggled with him pulling me around for far too long! That is until I found this! My favorite part is that I can clip it straight to my retractable leash (very much recommend as well) that I already owned. The bungee uses your dogs strength against themself instead of yanking your arm out of your socket. And the bungee is STRONG!! I was worried it would stretch too far but even my very strong, persistent boy bounces right back! I also very much love the added handle for when you need to control them in a tighter, close knit setting, it’s in the perfect spot to grab and keeps em nice and close. The only con I can say, and this might be because I am using it clipped to my retractable leash, is that it can be quite heavy and so as the dog gets farther from me it starts to swing into him and drag close to the ground. So far it hasn’t seemed to cause any issues, but it is something to consider if you have a dog that gets spooked by things swinging by its back legs or those with short legs that may trip over it. My dog is quite tall and has no issues jumping over the leash as it swings back and forth. But once again this may just be because mines attached to the end of my retractable leash? 🤷🏼♀️Either way I would highly recommend this for anyone who has a large dog that has been pulling them all over the place! It made walks more enjoyable for me but also more enjoyable for my dog!
