Orion HCCA1500.4 Competition Series 4-Channel Amplifier

Best amp hands down. 3000rms more like 10000rms orion always under rated. Buy it. You will not be disappointed!!! Need good electrical system tho. I have 2 300amp alt and 2 100 amp hr lipo (battle born) 15.0volts all day no light dim at near full tilt.

This things is a beast. Upgraded 2022 Version. I suggest battery bank , XS Power Batteries, Upgraded Mechman Alternator with the Big 3 wire Upgrade. Power her right and she will pound SPL. Sound Pressure Level. Not just herd. People Feel this type of bass

I must say this is the 2nd Orion Amplifier I have purchased, The first being an OrionXtr2500.1Dz which was a gift from my wife. I decided for once in my life I wanted an amplifier for my mids & highs that could handle the amount of speakers I usually have installed. I usually have anywhere from 4 pairs to 6 (pairs) of 6.5" and 6x9" speakers. All my amps in the past would have a hard time giving the power needed and I would usually end up with a wiring frenzy to keep the amp at a sustainable impedance. This amp. The Orion HCCA 1500.4 has outdone itself, seriously. I have 10 6.5" speakers in my vehicle along with 6 12" subwoofers. Its hard to keep your vocals loud enough to hear with that many Subs. The Orion HCCA1500.4 has my system sooo loud I've had people run from my vehicle. Hand to god. The amplifier has barely gotten even warm to the touch after playing for hours straight. I went ahead and installed 2 12v fans to help keep my subwoofer amps cool and with those 2 little fans added on the other side of the vehicle from where the Orion is, that amp stays Ice cold all day long. And it can be used for subs as well putting out great clean Rms power across all channels. 4ohm- 4 x 250w Rms, 2ohm- 4 x375w Rms, 4ohm bridged- 2 x 750w Rms. That's 375 watts per channel Rms by 4 channels. Or 750 watts Rms per channel for 2 channels. Awesome amp. Hands down.

I wish I didn’t need to write this review. I would think twice before dealing with Orion. I received this amp in faulty condition. It still worked but never was very loud. I troubleshooted this issue for over a year, and despite never playing very loud it blew 3 subwoofers. 2 of them Orion hcca’s at low volume. 1 kicker. After more than a year I finally came to the conclusion that something had to be wrong with the amp. Because I replaced every other single component at this point. I emailed Orion about this and they want me to send the amp to them so they can figure it out. Sounds great except they said that I would pay to ship it to them. Not ideal but fine. Then they would figure out the problem and fix it. Then they will hold my amp ransom till I pay them for the repairs and return shipping. An amp that I received faulty from them that I paid $700 for that has blown $1500 in subwoofers. They want me to pay to repair and ship both ways and if I send it and don’t pay for the repair they keep it. After explaining this to them in an email they simply just didn’t reply. I will never buy or deal with this company again and I highly advise everyone to do the same. It’s expensive equipment that they have only shown they don’t stand behind unfortunately.

I bought this to replace my Taramps Smart 3k. This amplifier is so much more powerful. With 3-0gauge power/ground inputs. I'm running at 3k @ 1 Ohm. It can do twice its power rating at .5 Ohms. Lithium Headway Bank and 300 Amp alternator. This thing uses a lot of power. Can't wait to meter it tomorrow. I was doing a 144.38 on the smart 3k. I will also be adding a second orion hcca 122 soon. I will update.
