Bought used (but like new) to save money but the information is just the same as a new one. Vey helpful and informative, has good design ideas, especially for beginer to intermediater carpenters.

I enjoy looking through this book of ideas for building my fireplace mantel.

Give me great ideas and written to understand

I thought it was a great book for reference combined with the other book Making Mantels. Great reference books. Made two different mantels that came out perfect.

It has not generic information. You need to like the three models illustrated in this book. Not what I expected.

Mario Rodriguez is a master at his craft. I have read amny article written by him both as a woodworker and as a carpenter. A great book!
