Our cable network recently added The NFL Channel, where I recently saw "Pure Payton" and had to have it on DVD. After searching, it appears the only way to get the DVD is to buy this book (apparently Pure Payton is out on VHS only).I bought the book just to get the DVD, but after scanning/reading sections of the book (especially after watching the DVD), I can tell I'm going to enjoy reading it when time permits.The sad thing about this book/DVD is that many who are not football fans will pass it by. I'm not really a football fan, but always enjoy watching masters ply their craft (Terry Bradshaw, Joe Montana, Ken Stabler, etc). I'm assuming due to their less than stellar record early in Walter Payton's career, I rarely got a chance to see him on NFL games of the week.Some of the best $20 I've spent, and as many here, I've watched the Pure Payton DVD many times! Great video, great music, and the DVD is a roller coaster of emotions!

Great book and DVD. Highly recommended for Bears fans across the nation but most importantly, to any sports fanatic period! Walter Payton was and is the greatest sports player who ever lived! You will be inspired to do your best and never give up at whatever you do in life! Book is used. I was told I was buying a new book. The dvd inside is so scratched it won’t play.
