It is almost impossible to make the cable entry points waterproof and in my view it should have come with a couple of sizes of rubber grommets to insert around the cable and round cut outs not double D shaped ones are each end. I do not believe the feedback that is suitable for outside use nor waterproof, as to me it is not. Now the good part, it is also a very quick, neat way of joining cables and of modest cost.
