Helped pulling dog
This made my dog behave like she had a harness on (a la horse), so she doesn't even try to drag me down the street anymore. The only problem is that she is about 22 lbs, so I bought a medium and it's kind of too loose on her, although I suspect that a size small would be too small. The straps are as tight as they can go, but it doesn't fit securely enough. I still use it, though.

Very good harness, but NOT a no pull harness
This is my honest review of this harness. First of all I think this is a very good quality, well made product. I have owned several harneses and leashes and this is by far the strongest, most solid looking one. It is also very good looking and when your dog is wearing it, he looks very respectable, like a service animal or a police dog. It is also very easy to put on my dog and he seemed to be comfortable with it, because he didn't try to shake it or bite if off, like he does with anything that bothers him. And I really love the handle, which I think it's extremely handy when your dog is acting out and not listening. However the big disappointment came when I dressed my dog and took him outside, he felt so comfortable in his NO PULL harness that he ran off like a maniac and almost pulled my arm out of my elbow. He can also get out of it very easily. This is a very good harness, but if you want something to keep your dog from pulling, this is not it.

I finally found the perfect harness for K9 Nose Work!
I've been searching high and low for the right harness for my dogs - and I finally found it! I've got two 60# Golden Retrievers, both of which are in K9 Nose Work training. For walks, they both wear a typical no-pull harness that clips in the front, but for Nose Work, the dog needs to be able to guide me toward the scent he's tracking. With a front-clipping harness, the dog isn't able to do that. So, I needed a harness that clipped on the dog's back, had a handle (for when I'm holding the dog before releasing him to search without a leash), wasn't restrictive to the dog's range of motion, and was comfortable (it's difficult for them to "work" if the harness is annoying). I had found plenty of harnesses that would do the trick but the prices have always been astronomical - at least $90 each (fine if my dogs were professional search dogs, but their training is strictly for fun). When I saw this harness first and the awesomely low price, I thought it was too good to be true, but went ahead and ordered one anyway. I was VERY pleasantly surprised - It's perfect! After trying it on my dogs, adjusting the fit - I immediately ordered a second one. It's so easy to put on, just one big clip. Adjusting to your dog's size is easy, too, and only took a few minutes. I have nothing negative to report about the harness. It's well made, lightweight, sturdy, and fits perfectly after a few easy adjustments. (My only wish - not a complaint, but a nice-to-have feature, would be a velcro strip somewhere on the harness for adding a patch that explains the dog's job - Nose Work, Service Dog, Search & Rescue, etc. but I can just sew one in myself if I choose to.

Eh...
I had ordered a much larger better quality version of this for my 125 Rottweiler, and liked it. So I figured I could order a smaller version to get me started for my newly adopted a PIt Bull. I want to walk him on a gentle leader, but right now, his nose is so small, he just slides it off. I used this harness twice, and I am not really impressed. For starters, the handle is so big it makes the harness top heavy. Overall, the harness is just okay. For the price, not bad....considering many harnesses are just straps and cost as much if not more. I will be returning this and work on the gentle leader, as I feel it is the best thing out there.

Great harness, no doubt about it
This is a great harness. It's sturdy, adjustable, has a grip handle for those times you need extra control (I know you know what I mean...), and - absolutely best of all - it's EASY to put on your dog.Forget about those multiple-strap harnesses that you can't untangle and figure out which strap goes where or if it's even inside-out, right-side up, left-to-right, or front-to-back... and that's before you even try to put it on your wriggling squirming excited doggie where they have to place one leg here and the other leg there while you struggle to manipulate another strap etc. etc.Once you've adjusted for the optimal fit, all you do is just put it over your dog's head and then click one strap into place. Presto. Doesn't get better than that!I've got these well designed harnesses for all our dogs; from a Shih Tzu to a Saint Bernard, it's all good (ask me how I know). I attach an extra name tag to each harness so all I need to do when it's time for walkies is select the ones I want and don't have to guess which goes to who.Highly recommended.

Sturdy and well-made
***Update 2021**** still using this very harness with no signs of serious wear!**update May 2018** I still have this harness after years and it’s still in great shape. I use it whenever I walk my Akita mix. He is not the young guy he was when I first ordered this harness, but he looks happy whenever I pull it out of the hall closet. He knows we’re going somewhere!*** I saw some reviews that said this harness is poorly made. It scared me while I waited for it to arrive. The harness I received is very sturdy, well made, and durable. My dog looks quite sharp and handsome in it. The reflective material could be more reflective but the harness is very tough which makes me feel much more secure walking him. I like the little handle on top which makes it easier to control him if he gets wiley on a walk. I may order a medium rather than a large next time though. The front strap is as small as it will get and isn't quite snug enough. My boy has a very deep chest but is slender at 60 pounds. I regularly have trouble finding a harness that fits just right. I must add that this harness really shouldn't be advertised as a "no-pull" or anti-pulling harness. My dog pulls just as much as ever. Then again, I have yet to find a harness that helps much with pulling.
