Didn't know what to expect but I'm a convert. I'm in the process of removing harmful chemicals and ingredients from my skincare. This deodorant is my first try of a non antiperspirant deodorant and I won't go back. First the smell, it's gorgeous. Fresh and clean. It feels like a textured cream and is very easy to use, rubbing a small amount into the armpit. It's quite 'dry' so no flapping around trying to dry before putting clothes on. And it works great, if not better than a usual antiperspirant at keeping odours at bay. I didn't really notice sweating more than with an antiperspirant. But the best part, I had been getting sore, itchy armpits with the odd bumps. My GP confirmed it was blocked pores etc, and these have gone! We don't need the nasty chemicals we have been convinced for years that we do, this is a brilliant product which is so much better for your health too.

I've been using these deodorants as my daily go to for a year now, and I love them - I hope they never stop making them. It's great to have a natural product that really works and that doesn't come in plastic packaging. For me, those huge plus points far outweigh the minor inconveniences. The heat of my fingers helps me to spread the product onto my skin, and then I have to wash my hands with soap to get rid of the residue. I actually quite like the self care ritual of doing this, though.I really like the different scents and the fact that they smell natural and zingy, but not in the realm of essential oils and incense, etc. I use the Clean deodorants for cold weather when I won't be doing much walking, and the Orange & Bergamot Active for any other time. I do sweat, but the sweat smells neutral and my clothes stay smelling neutral.

I've struggled to find a deodorant that smells good, is kind to my sensitive skin and actually WORKS! This is the best I've ever used. It's not cheap, but it lasts for ages. Highly recommended.

Smells really nice and works.

The scent is lovely when you put it on, the scent doesn't last all day but the effects of the deodrant definitely work. I dont smell by the end of the day, even when I've got really hot or sweaty, it's been absolutely fine! Will definitely continue buying, just would be nice for a long lasting scent :) finally made the switch to a natural deodrant.

Love this, small amount needed but provides excellent odour protection, currently menopausal and odour was becoming an issue, but this works.

I have sensitive skin and a bit of OCD when it comes to deodorant and anti-perspirants. We're forever being told about "nasties" we shouldn't be putting on our skin and I was looking for a different alternative. I'd used a rock stick for a while and that worked (up to a point) but I disliked having to wet it to use it and it having no real scent.This Active Deodorant Balm was a unique concept to me and I was very sceptical at first. But I'll give most things a try and took a punt. The idea of rubbing a balm onto my own armpits seemed a bit weird at first but I soon got the hang of it. This Orange & Bergamot version definitely has a more natural smell to it than so many of the artificially scented products out there. (They do a coconut version too which smells lush!) The smell isn't over powering and doesn't bother me in the slightest. The balm initially feels a little bit gritty but quickly smooths and dissolves onto the skin and dries quite quickly too. It doesn't leave any "white claggyness" behind (like some of the stick deodorants do) and there's no rub off onto clothing that I've noticed. The boon for me is twofold... I have no skin reaction to this product at all (even after shaving my armpits) and it washes off in the shower leaving clean skin (most other deodorants seem to leave a film on the skin that is almost impossible to get off without scrubbing your pits raw or using some unhealthy grade cleaner to remove it). The pot is a good size and I can see that it is going to last so the price isn't that bad either. Will I buy it again? Definitely! Do I recommend it to others? Oooooh, yes!!! :)

Stops armpit smells but not sweating - it's a deodorant not antiperspirant. Like its eco credentials. Easy to apply and a little goes a long way.Don't like the fragrance though - it's like a chocolate orange.
