Works as advertised
Easy to use, one side for tightening, the other for loosening, soft backing really does protect the guitar finish. I don’t mind paying a little more for quality tools, and the Music Nomad tools are quite excellent, including this one.

Awesome Tool for Guitar Folk.
This is a great tool to have in your tech box. I live the leather-like bottom material. How long it will last? We’ll see. So far I really like it. The teeth grip very well and doesn’t mark up the metals.

Final Assembly Left to the User
Despite a limited range of function, this is a useful (but not essential) tool for anyone working on guitars. It's a wrench, and many of its functions can be accomplished with other wrenches, if a bit less conveniently in some cases. Two issues.First, the microfiber pad must be installed by the purchaser. This really should be done at the factory; with a proper alignment tool, as would be required is a manufacturing production environment, this would be an easy task. As it is, however, you'll need to remove the paper backing from the adhesive on the pad, get the pad onto a level, stable surface (not easy with the pad sticking to your fingers, and carefully align the pad with the metal part of the tool - also not easy. My suggestion is to line up the hole on the metal with the the corresponding hole on the pad, and then verify that the "legs" of the pad are more or less aligned with their counterpart surfaces on the metal part. Then just roll all of this side to side and hope for the best; there's no way to fix an error if you're off a little bit, and the end result is unlikely to be perfect regardless. The second issue is price - this tool way overpriced for what it does, so you may want to think if you really need it. Again, despite my two issues, it works as advertised. But, especially at the price, final assembly shouldn't be required.
