There is no need to shake, like a metallic paint pen, the line is fine, the color really is silver. I am an artist who uses this in my fine art. The ink is archival. Highly recommend.

I make and sell greeting cards to benefit our local library, and I've tried other 'glazing' pens to write on dark paper, but they skip or balk or put down too much ink. These silver Sakura Metallic Gel Ink pens are the answer to a prayer. I'm able to use them on almost any kind of paper, including marbleized. The only thing I have to watch out for is smearing if I don't give the ink time enough to dry. The pens are long lasting, too. I bought this set because I only had one silver metallic pen, but I still haven't had to break it open.This is a good product. These pens came from a seller who actually got on the phone with me and helped to assist me in getting the correct the pens that I needed for a special set of stationery that I designed and had made myself.. The paper was heavy and a dark, royal purple. Using a gold ink was too "expected" for my tastes. I decided on silver. I will only write with medium point as fine point is annoying...she used their pens they sell and assured me it would work well on the purple color I selected. The pens arrived within days and they look just as elegant as a court written letter on my own designed paper and letter head than anything I have created so far. I am very happy with these pens and have purchased 2 more packages since then.

i received a set of silver, gold, and copper, rather than a set of three silver ones. :\ even so, good pens! i use them on black post-it notes and it looks really cool.

I loved using these pens (metallic and non-metallic colors) when I was in college to take notes - it somehow made notetaking more interesting if it was in a different color. These are nice for scrap booking and the metallic pens are really nice when used on dark paper to make the ink stand out. The medium point is thicker than what I prefer to use (the finer the point, the better for me) but using a finer point with these pens would make the inkflow slower.

This product hasn't changed in 20+ years and that's fine. Silver might work fine on black paper, but not great on other dark tones (dark red, specifically, is what I bought it for)

Takes a tiny bit for these to dry when I'm writing with them. Not a huge deal, but it's something to be mindful of or they will smear very badly. Nice bright silver shine though.

Il faut bien les essuyer après l'utilisation.Les noirs... la pointe est très fine tel que décrit.Les stardust....porte tres bien keur nom "poussière d'etoile". Donne un très bel effet de brillance et de "sparkle" sur mes coloriages. Mais il faut bien les essuyer après l'utilisation sinon la pointe semble sécher.Livraison très rapide en 2 jours

Even better than the white ones! These pens have silky smooth ink and a really nice roller action. I sometimes struggle with gels because I’m left handed but no issues so far! Looks great on black paper.

If you've used Gelly Roll pens then you know the quality you're getting. Great coverage, no skipping. They only down side is the price.

Good quality. Very pleased and I am fussy with pens.

These pens work really well on glossy and matte photos, along with canvas. The point is fine enough for precise drawing. So far the ink has not dried out or hardened at the tip.
