Got this for my husband and he is very happy with it. The bidirectional rotation and use with both batteries and plug were very helpful features. It has a nice finish and looks great on our nightstand!

Not as bad as the other reviewer giving it only 1 star.looks expensive. think it's real glass. soft pillow that you don't have to fight it and wouldn't scratch your bracelet. idiot-proof operation, just turn the knob to "C".Best of all, dual power.

After spending weeks comparing and contrasting the plethora of watch winders out there, I finally went with this one. Based on the research I've done, it is apparently fairly complicated to produce a winder which does its job and which has a reasonable life expectancy. As with any/most small motorized electronics, I know this will eventually HAVE to be replaced. Only time will tell if the motors (one/both) will hold up for as long as I would like/expect.When it's all said and done with, if you're looking for something simple and relatively inexpensive to keep 2 of your watches wound, this will do the trick. If you want something that will keep your watches wound that is on par with the build quality of an Omega, Panerai or even a blah Rolex, you'll have to jump into a significantly higher price range and will likely have to acquire one from a specialty vendor. If you're wearing luxury timepieces, you won't be blown away with the quality of this thing, fake leather, plastic components etc. etc. but it does cost less than the sales tax on many of the watches it will house.In my opinion, this winder isn't trying (too hard) to be something that it isn't, heirloom quality, hand crafted timepiece furniture.What made me chose this one: #1 dual voltage power supply and optional battery operation, #2 no cheesy LCD readouts/screens, #3 non-contoured (flat) plexiglass door/lid, #4 fake leather is less obnoxious and obvious than fake/veneer wood, #5 three dummy-proof knob positions (CW, CC, Both.) *CHECK your watch's specific movement for directionality and rotations per day.I also like the fact that the spongy part you put the watch on is dark and resistant to discoloring, versus a light colored suede or velour which will show dirt/grime over time. Lastly, while it's not really an overly sophisticated system for ensuring a snug, restrained/secured fit during rotations, this winder does accommodate watches sized for XL wrists, I believe up to 10". The watch receptacle is basically a cup holder which accepts an oversized cylinder of upholstered foam. The foam (on which the watch is strapped) is probably 5" thick. So smaller wristed watches would compress the foam more, larger wristed watches less....but it goes in the "cup holder" the same. So unlike many out there, this is truly a one-size-fits-all winder.

Advised to buy an expensive watch winder, this one cost $450. On side of the dual winder worked just fine but the other side did not. So aftetr 2 frustrating weeks, we have returned the winder to Amazon and are awaiting a refund. Very disappointing to say the least as I still need a dual watch winder.

Something is wrong with this winder. The watch that I put on the left side is always 5 minutes late after 3 days. I thought the watch needed servicing. When I switched the watches around, the other watch had the issue. Definitely returning this!

It's AWESOME! A truly beautiful case for your best watches.

Great product, does what it's supposed to, amazing quality, very high end. But the 2 slots spin at different speeds and don't stop exactly where they started.
