I love this item! The leather looks good, feels good, and is rugged enough to take on a beating! The craftsmanship is beautiful! Fits exactly as it says. The strap from the journal easily loops over the outside of the case to keep it closed. I carry this everywhere every day. The inside pockets are good for collected handouts and so on.

I already have two Robrasim steno pad holders and a memo pad holder, so I thought I'd give this a try for my Amazon Basics Grid notebook. It exceeded my expectations for the price, and that's always a nice surprise. Smells great, looks and feels great, very sturdy, and very useful. I'm ordering another one. By the way, this cover fits the expanded 400 page Moleskine books perfectly. The cover fits into both the front and back slots and makes for a really nice leather cover. If the fit is a bit snug at first, just close the cover and place a heavy book on top over night to give the leather a chance to relax and adjust to the expanded size.

the products seems as described. The leather appears to be good quality and fits my notebook perfectly. I expect to get many years of use out of this product. The packaging was quite fun. it is in a heavy paper envelope bound in twine. Within it is in a cheesecloth bag with a bookmark and post card. Feels like something received from a traveling relative. quite enjoyed opening it up. It makes me wish I had someone to buy it for as a gift.

Wow this came fast!! I was favorably impressed with the quality of the item for the price point. The leather was supple (which I like) and the stitching sturdy. Unfortunately it does not fit my Midori A5 journal. The journal is too thick and thus the cover doesn't cover. I tried a thinner A5 and it fit perfectly (like a moleskin). If you use a thin journal like that then this is going to be fine. I have not decided whether to send it back or give it as a gift since I have some of the thin moleskin type journals laying around. So disappointed about this because I do like it!

You CAN put both ends of your hardback moleskine in each side of cover. Or you can just slide the notebook in the back slit and have the front cover pockets for papers or a thin paper white e reader which fits. I preferred a cover that truly wraps the book and if you put the front cover in first you can open it all the way back and get the back cover in. Soft, flexible, hint of leather smell, but it's good...not like what I've seen another reviewer say. I find NOTHING objectionable about the smell and indeed love the feel and softness, yet well made cover.

I am a leather snob. I want real leather that's soft to the touch and that beautifies when scratched. Something that feels good in the hand so it encourages me to pick up the journal more. I had doubts, but this thing really delivers. Leather is very similar to clarks shoes. Good amount of oil, if it scuffs you can sort or rub your thumb over it to buff around it a bit, but it's not overly susceptible to scuffs etc. I've been carrying it around now for a few weeks and making no effort to treat it nicely, and it's still looking great. Fully recommend. I have the field notes size from them as well and it's the same quality.

I use a lot of notebooks and I have purchased other notebook covers around the same price. This far exceeds them. I saw other reviews that mentioned some of these things, so I will address as well. Leather is soft but stable. Holds the notebook well. A moleskine or a $5 notebook from Walmart (I am using this one right now). The elastic band on the notebook can be used to hold notebook shut if desired. Pen holder is big enough for any size pen. Which is nice. I encountered absolutely no dye transfer to the pages of my notebook. There was no strong odor coming from the notebook. I mean there is a "normal" leather smell but I literally have to touch my face with the notebook to smell it. For the price, I just cannot see how you could get a better notebook cover.

Me encanto el detalle del empaque. Producto de calidad, tal cual se ve en las fotos. Solo detalle con tamaño. No cabe cualquier libreta no diario. Revisar el ancho de la libreta también. Tuve que realizar modificaciones en mi diario pero al final cupo.
