Minami Morepa Cholesterol Smart Fats Omega-3 30 Softgels, 80 g

First impressions (23/11/20) - easy to swallow, no unpleasant aftertaste. Very interested about red yeast rice and what it can do, as I've never heard of this before. Definitely going to do more research on all the ingredients and their benefits. Update (20/12/20) - having taken this supplement for a month I am very pleased with it and will continue with either this one or another in the Minami range. I don't know how my cholesterol level has been affected, but I really do feel this supplement has helped my body cope with an extremely stressful time at home and work. To anyone considering this supplement - do your research, find out which supplement in the range is best for you, and try it!

I am aware that my feeling of feeling better after beginning to take these tablets maybe a placebo but even if that is the case thats not a bad side effect to putting something that is clinically confirmed to be helpful into the body.These are large capsules and even though I don't find them hard to swallow I can imagine others, however unlike other similar capsules which contain fish oils these have a pleasant taste and I did not feel that there was much fishy after taste. Therefore if these need to be in the mouth for a little longer because unable to swallow easily then that is not a hardship.

The size seems a little daunting but they are so smoothly coated that I actually swallowed the tablet really easily. I would say that I have been much more alert and clear in my thoughts (which have been affected my middle aged fog recently). Difficult to know what the effect on cholesterol is without taking a test but I eat a fairly balanced diet so this was really just a bit of extra help. Really pleasing not to have any aftertaste.

I have been taking this for a couple of weeks now and, in general, I like the idea of the product. I decided to try them as there is a history of high cholesterol in my family and I have always suffered from stiff joints as my role used to be very physical, and now I sit at a desk and set everyday!They are quite pricey for what they are, and so I may or may not continue using them after this pot is done.They are quite large, so if you struggle with swallowing, they may not be for you, I don't seem to have too much of a problem, but I don't see the point of the Orange flavouring as they are swallowed whole. Although, every other fish oil based product I have tried has repeated on me for hours after, whereas these don't at all!Weirdly enough, my cholesterol has increased in the last 6 weeks since my last check, however it may be COVID/lockdown related, so hopefully it will have reduced thanks to these by my next test!

Bought these as I was very impressed with the quality of the oil used and the fact that there is nothing nasty in there. I was worried about how big they are when I first saw them but they were surprisingly easy to swallow. They have a slight taste of orange which is nice, thankfully no horrible aftertaste that you get with some vitamins. I don't have high cholesterol but liked what I read about fish oils contributing in maintaining a healthy heart. I can't say I've noticed any improvement in general health so far, but I plan to carry on taking them and hope to reap the benefits a month or two down the line.

Having had cholesterol problems for years, I was hoping these would help. The capsules were a bit on the dumpy side, & not exactly the easiest to swallow. Although they contain the rather fishy omega 3 oil, there was no trace of a fishy taste or smell, but I couldn't taste the supposed orange flavour as stated on the box either. There was a smell from the open container, but not orange, just not sure what it was.These come in a box of 30 soft gel tablets & cost at the time of purchase, £25.50, equal to 85p per gel & almost £6 for a weeks supply. As I don't usually buy these supplements, I'm not sure where this falls on the cost scale, but personally, it does seem a bit expensive to me.When it comes to the benefits of taking these gels, I'm not in a position to give a cast iron comment here. Suffice to say, I don't feel any different after taking the course. To me, there has been no noticeable difference in my cholesterol, either up or down, nor do I feel any better or worse. It could be that the initial 30 days supply is not enough to see any concrete difference; but I don't think I'll be buying any more. Usually I'm looking for an instant response, & if I can't see one after 30 days, I'd feel I was wasting my money buying more, just "on the off chance" they'll work.I have noticed that my right shoulder & elbow have had a bit of a niggling discomfort since taking these, which wasn't evident before; will need to wait & see if it disappears after stopping taking them.

I have been pleasantly surprised by how easy these have been to take. I had dreaded the fishy feedback! you often get with this type of softgel capsule. The other good thing is if it doesn't slide down straight away they taste pleasantly orangey so no panic required to take them quickly. I have also been feeling so tired recently so any impact these can make to this lethargy will be most welcome. I plan to review again once I have taken them for 2 weeks.

These tablets were easy to swallow, they didn't leave any after taste either. After trying for a full month I'm feeling bit more energetic however as I didn't have a test either side of taking them I'm unsure if my cholesterol levels have changed, yet feeling better than I did before taking so something has happened in my body , bottle easy to open can be stored virtually anywhere certainly recommend trying
