12 Yards Black Nylon Heavy Webbing Straps with 12 Set Plastic 1 Inch Flat Side Release Buckles, Tri-Glide Slides and D Rings for DIY Making Luggage Strap, Pet Collar, Backpack Repairing

Light weight use only. Made a 12" piece with d-ring in each end and hung 50lbs on it to test my stitching, the webbing deformed and stretched 4". Was very surprised it was that weak, my packs often exceed 50lbs. Kept adding weight and it kept stretching, put a max of 200lbs on it and it never completely failed but my 12" piece is now 20" long. Made a new one and tried to double up the straps and at 200lbs a 12" piece stretched to 16" (no permanent stretch at 50lbs). Theoretically doubling up the straps and sewing together should triple the weight capacity but only doubled it. ( for those who want to make an argument I said theoretically. A solid rope or wire exponentially increases in strength as the size goes up. 1/4" to 3/8" doubles in strength, 3/8" to 11/32" triples in strength, 11/32" to 1/2" quadruples in strength).

The strap and buckles look well made but the nylon strap is cut into several long pieces as opposed one long 12 yard piece. What if I need a nylon piece longer than what has been pre-cut. The web description says one piece not several pieces. I will probably send this back.

I'm making my dog some collars (so she can be the most stylish dog around) and this kit is a great price for what it comes with. I did purchase some metal triglide slides because I think they look better, but the buckles hold up well and the webbing is a great weight for a medium dog collar. It easily sews in my sewing machine and (so far) has held up beautifully.

When purchasing our RV cover it did not come with extra straps for all the tie downs the cover had. Looking around from big box stores to surplus and beyond, the best deal out there was here on Amazon. These buckles and straps were perfect for our needs and having 1 long roll allowed us to cut where ever we wanted. I may but another one just a case for other projects needing straps. You can't beat the price. With Prime, I had it in 2 days. What could be better than that.

These are great. I love that I can cut to whatever I want. The mix of D rings, sliders, and buckles means I can do a range of projects. Sturdy and well made.

Would have been nice if they included some directions. I don’t think I have ever bought something over the internet with instructions included. Would have save some time.

I bought this to replace handles on my gun case. I also used the fasteners to repair my car cover. Good quality and works great.

Add these parts to your box of 1-inch ratchet straps and you will find many more uses for them!
