Amazon and the manufacturer have it listed as “guaranteed” fit for a 2002 ram 1500 5.9 magnum but that’s not the case.High pressure side input isn’t bored out even close to enough for the hose to seat.Starting return, save yourself the time and frustration of ripping your old compressor out for this if you’re rocking a 5.9.

This compressor was for a 1999 Dodge Ram1500 Laramie ST 4x4 5.3 liter with NV3500 trans. Worked perfectly. I believe it is as pre charged with oil but there was no documentation indicating so. I drained it and filled it with the exact manufacturer specified amount just to be safe. Other than that it was great. Had one loose screw that I tightened on the housing.

It works
Works for 2000 Durango and beats the price at an auto parts store. It came with oil inside.. I do not know if it was the right kind for A/C or not, I took it out and put the right kind in anyway.

Did not work, no return info on order
Had it put on truck ladt week and didnt work and it locked up. There is no info on the order to be able to exchange it. So looks like we are out 116 bucks ...
