A good little product to keep on hand
Adding a little protein here and there, overnight oats, morning coffee. I probably haven't scratched the surface of what can be done with this product. A good size to start with, but seems a little pricey, so I'll check around. Fresh out of the package. I keep in the fridge after opening (which I'm not sure if it needs to be, but keeps it fresher - iThink!)

Use like oastmeal
Purchase to use in place of oats for a healthier option. Have baked with them and microwaved and they are good.

Great replacement for oats
This is a great replacement for oats. I’ve been making granola with it!

Perfect additive for my oatmeal
I bought this to mix in with my oatmeal to give a boost of nutrition. The flakes makes mixing in easy and they cook fast. The taste and texture is nice.

Rancid, despite supposedly not expiring until the end of next year
I opened this and I couldn’t even bring myself to taste it, because it smells so rancid and I get terrible reflux if I consume rancid oils.It also has a California proposition 65 warning that it may contain a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer or birth defects or other reproductive harm.Another problem is that it is processed in a facility with milk, eggs, tree nuts, wheat, and soy.

No cooking directions on package, why?!
If you don't write cooking directions (and ratio of water to flakes for different quantities) on the package but you do write the chromosomal makeup of the owners, something is messed up with your priorities.Quinoa flakes are always great. These are too.

Surprising - small but a lot of 'em
I can't decide if the Quinoa has added flavor or not to my multigrain mix of rolled grains. These flakes are much smaller than the other rolled flakes so they have a tendency to settle in the jar. They arrived in a clean bag, looked & smelled fresh and were attractive (in a rolled flake kind of way).Like a lot of people during the stay-at-home orders, I've been using my bread machine quite a bit - especially to make my multi-grain version of Oatmeal Bread. I loved using Quaker's rolled Multi-grain oat mix in place of just rolled oats. Quaker doesn't make it anymore. To make my own version, I searched for the rolled grain equivalents in Rye (Briess), Barley (Shiloh Farms), Spelt (Grain Foods) and a couple of others (like Quinoa) - in affordable, manageable quantities. Rolled grains were harder to find then you'd think. My mix has been a great success.
