Nature Gnaws Beef Gullet Sticks for Dogs 5-6" (15 Count) - Natural Beef Jerky Stick Dog Chew Treats - Rawhide Free

I have been buying Nature’s Gnaws for several years. For a long time I was very pleased with the product and spent a lot of money buying them for my dogs. Over the past year I have noticed a serious lack of quality control. I used to buy the large bully sticks in a package of 10, however the product no longer is “large” instead it includes very thin sticks. Since it costs $50 a bag that seems like cheating. Finally, I decided to not waste my money anymore on the large size and opted to just buy the small bully sticks 5-6 inches in a package of 15 for my small dog. I just received a package and all the sticks are black as tar, hollow and brittle. My 9 pound dog can finish off a stick in a couple of minutes. I am done with this company. If you get these items you may get a good product or you may get a truly inferior one.

These smell terrible. I was so shocked when I opened the bag by how bad they smelled. My puppy liked them, so I figured no big deal. After I gave her her first one she threw up and was really aggressive the next morning (not like her at all). I took her to the vet and she had major intestinal upset. The Vet said these types (not necessarily this brand - just cow esophagus in general) of chews often cause problems for dogs. The bag went straight in the trash.It's possible that they would be fine for your dog, and my pup thought they tasted pretty good, but given the smell and the vet visit, I can't give these more than one star.

My miniature dachshund LOVES these chews! She now refuses other chews that we've used in the past in preference to one of these. My 4 star rating is based on the fact that they are hollow and therefore are chewed up very quickly....about 10 minutes! I was hoping for something longer lasting for chewing and teeth cleaning. I will continue to purchase these because she loves them so much, but I may investigate whether there is a longer lasting option.

I'll be honest from the start: when I unwrapped the package and the mat came in, I about fell over from the smell. I thought "This is not going to work." HOWEVER, despite the smell, I put the matt down, took a shower and the smell magically disappeared.Two of the best things about this matt is: 1) It's longer than other matts I've had, and; 2) The suction cups took hold even though there's already a non-slip matt built into the tub.This is a great matt and I highly recommend it!

If they look like a great buy on the surface;s that's because there is nothing in the center your getting the out casing of the ligament only the center collagen which would keep your dog chewing on it for more than an hour is not there. So you have a product the dog is finished with i9n about 5 minutes.

I've been buying bully sticks or pizzles for our dog for a few months. Usually they are meaty and not hollow. She spends anywhere from 15-30 minutes chewing on a 6 inch stick. These are hollow and crunchy, not chewy. As expensive as they are, I expect my dog to get much more enjoyment out of a bully stick than this brand offers.

My dog is a super picky eater (read *if the piece of cheese is too big he won’t eat it/if the hot dog isn’t warm he’s not interested) but he loves these.I had to break it in half the first two times I gave it to him, but he now accepts the whole chew.He is a 10yr old 22lb dog and these take about 15 mins for him. He is a light chewer. For a big dog these may not work.These are the ONLY chews he likes besides greenies.

I mistakenly purchased these thinking they were bully sticks. I have 2 chihuahua puppies and a pit bull. The chihuahua girls are teething. Bully sticks last them up to a week with daily supervised chewing. These were complete consumed in under 10 minutes by the chihuahuas. The pit bull crunched on this like it was a potato chip. I won't take away from the fact that the dogs enjoyed them, however they are not long lasting in the least bit.
