Works flawlessly on GT62VR 6RE Dominator Pro
Flawless!!Some review state that the fans don't spin down correctly, but neglect to mention what machine, 62, 72, etc. Please be happy to know that on the GT62VR 6RE Dominator Pro the fans are flawless. On my system, doing hi-end rendering, they can run for over 13 hours non-stop, back to back (so of course I burned mine out), and they run flawlessly. FAR less noisy than the originals as well. :-DEasy installation, assuming you have steady hands and/or a way to retrieve those tiny screws. In my case, I also removed the new fans' silver top covers and swapped on MSI's black tops instead. Before the fans, I couldn't even THINK about using the GPU for rendering or VR - instant shut down. Even under warranty, I couldn't find time to send it back because I use it every day for staging, then outsource rendering to the Desktop -- a horrible work flow but at least I had the portability and the Dominator's i7, 2TB storage (upgraded), and 48GB RAM (upgraded) for development. But now: BANG! My machine is back to brand new.As soon as I can, I'm gonna stockpile another pair of these for the future. So leave a couple for me!!I hope this helps.

Broke After 8 Months
Worked decently enough at first, but broke after 8 months. That's far too short. Don't recommend - 1 Star.

Decent replacement fans
Perfect fit, showed up quickly. Laptop is running cool again. Only complaint is they are a little bit louder than the original ones. Fairly minor complaint though.

Quick fix for my MSI laptop
Like so many others I had a fan die in my MSI laptop. This fan fit perfectly and works well. I saw the reviews about the fan continuing to run with the laptop powered off but plugged in. I did not experience this issue. I would guess that those that do have the issue reversed the pins on the cable for the fan.Update 12/15/19My first replacement was for the CPU. I also had the GPU fan die a couple of days ago. Ordered the same fan again, worked flawlessly. The original is still working perfectly, and I expect the same from this second one. They even add a screwdriver with the fan that will both work with the screws for the case and the fan. Everything you need is in 1 box.

Worked... but with compromise
Although it wasn't an exact match with OEM GT62VR 7RD, I took a chance. The fan works, although it operates at a slightly different speed than original. The issue is that it has developed an intermittent chirp. Thinking it could be the HDD, I isolated the components to determine the noise is indeed the fan. I will be replacing this product with the true OEM version.

Like many here
Like many here, my laptop fans stopped working. Sometimes they would spin up, but for the most part they wouldn't and my laptop would overheat. As little as that makes sense, there has to be a controller on the fans themselves that tells it when to spin. Getting these two new fans were the only things that worked. Easy install, and 2 months in and it works great so far.

Failure in less than 6 months on both cooling fans.
I purchase two of these fans for my msi laptop less than 6 months ago. I just had one fail, the fan blades started rubbing on its housing and it stopped working moments after. Inspection has shown the bushings had excessive wear which caused the failure. It was the quieter of the two fans to begin with. I inspected the second fan and it's close to failure as well, same issue. The bushings on it are worn and the fan blade is close to making contact with the housing. I'm hoping the fan that failed didn't cause damage to the circuit board. I was led to believe these were a higher quality fan than the stock ones I replaced them with, very disappointed.

Well.. It works.. even when the computer is off (that is a problem).
I bought this for a MSI GT62VR 7RE Dominator Pro. The replacement fan worked, but now will continue to spin after shut down unless I unplug the laptop.I was having issues with my high end gaming laptop that I bought in April 2017. The CPU fan was acting erratically which was annoying. However, it was still cooling the CPU. One day it literally was at 0 RPM and I couldn't hear it, or feel air flow. So I decided to do research. I found that MANY MSI laptops have this issue (how the heck does a $1,800 laptop have this problem!? How does an $1800 laptop have ANY problems!?). After much research I found someone who directly posted the ASIN number of this product. This product, as of writing this review, has a title of "QUETTERLEE Replacement New Laptop Cooling fan for MSI MS-16L1 MS-16L2 MS-16L3 GT62 GT62VR 6RD 6RE 7RE Terrans Force S5 S6 S5-A1 cooling fan cooler PABD19735BM N322 N395".. Removing all the unnecessary stuff, it says "QUETTERLEE Replacement .. Cooling fan for MSI ...GT62VR..7RE ..". This is my exact brand and model. The replacement procedure was pretty easy, but I DID HAVE TO unscrew a screw that was under the "warranty" sticker. MSI warranty policy is 3 months, so whatever (I emailed, them, they never replied). The fan fit. I turned on the computer, and no more erratic fan noises/RPMs. PERFECT!Then I turn off the computer for the night. What do I hear? My new fan spinning. I left the original fan (for the GPU) in, and it is was not spinning. I decided to turn the computer back on, and off again. Still the new fan was spinning. Now I need to find a way to manipulate my BIOS or something.. Thus I am leaving a 2 star review. YES it fixed the problem, but created a new one. I found that I need to unplug the computer in order to make the fan stop spinning with the computer off. It does not appear to drain the battery (from 1 day of observation).
